Despite being unlucky enough to have developed Burkitt's Lymphoma, my son was lucky to have Dr. Sandlund as his oncologist. Very knowledgeable, actually told by other doctors at st. Jude's that he is one of the best in the world, and just as caring and nice. Would call on days off and nights to see how we were.

Dr. Sandlund has been treating my 16 year old son for the last 7 months for Burkett Lymphoma. We could not be happier with Dr. Sandlund. He goes out of his way to treat our son as if he is his own. We have had calls at night and on weekends from him to make sure everything is going well. He's teared up when our son has been in immense pain or not doing well. He has never referred to himself as Dr, always by his first name. Extremely humble (though regarded as a world-wide expert in BL).
