List of John Whitworth's Reviews
Dr Whitworth is carying and highly knowledgeable physian. He performed a colonoscopy on our 14 year and diagnosed famial adenmatosis polyposis. This inherited disease and the diagnosis was very frightening. Dr Whitworth was quick to tell us that there were measures to be taken that while they have not been easy to endure I am happy to say that my granddaughter is doing well and was correctly diagnosed. I highly recommend Dr Whitworth and we will continue to see him yearly.
My daughter had many issues with GERD as an infant and was treated by a physician at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. As she has grown older, we have had fewer issues and needed a closer physician. Dr. Whitworth accepted our insurance and we gave him a try. He was so professional, very caring and eager to work with us to determine a course of treatment for our daughter. We have had lots of experience with other doctors and he ranks at the top of the list! We highly recommend him!!
Very rude Dr! Very demeaning! Had an I told you so, nothing is wrong with your child smirk on his face after endoscopy, as my child is laid up in hospital in severe abdominal pain. I would never recommend this Dr to anyone.
Dr. refused to see my child. Said there was nothing he would do for him without even having the first appointment. I have never experienced anything like this before. My child has been suffering from severe abdominal pains for over a year and he tells his nurse to call and say he won't see him. Only giving one star because I can't submit the message without selecting a star.
WASTE OF TIME, VERY RUDE AND DEMEANING ACTE, CAME ACROSS LIKE MY CHILD WAS JUST MAKING THEIR PAIN UP,
After a year of non treatment in AR for my sons Crohn's we have finally found this doctor and are so thankful for him
I waited over an hour to see Dr. Whitworth. No one on the staff seemed at all bothered or apologetic about the wait. After an extended wait, he spent roughly 5-7 minutes in the room and still has no answer as to my child's problems. I was told to come back in 3-4 months, but making an appointment has to be done through a central scheduling line as opposed to at the office desk. I am currently looking for a new pediatric GI.
As a medical professional I am a very difficult patient. I have high expectations about the level of careI expect to recieve. Dr Whitworth has proven himself to not only be a valuable team member but also the true anchor of the team. When my daughter was admitted to LeBohneur's ICU with a severe GI bleed he provided her with exceptional care. He stayed in close contact with us about her condition and what each next step would be. He was attentive not only to our needs as worried parents but also to our 12 year old daughter's concerns. When we went home with pending test results. He personally called to discuss the results as soon as they became available. Overall, I could not imagine recieving better care from any other practioner.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
