The best doctor in Memphis! Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly as well. I recommend Dr. Joseph to anyone!

Just had my first appointment. They were very informative and kind. Normally, doctors don’t listen to my concerns, and don’t explain why they are doing tests or what to expect. He explained everything in a way that anyone could understand. I go back Friday and am a lot less nervous than I have been with previous doctors.

I have been a patient here for about 6 years now and I have always felt comfortable and satisfied. I love the entire staff. Makes you feel like family

He's knowledgeable, warm, cheerful, and friendly. He always makes me feel relaxed regardless of what's going on. He doesn't believe in performing unnecessary procedures or making a big fuss but he thoroughly addresses everything that needs to be done. He personally delivers all of his babies. He's reachable and informative. Note: If you're whiny, needy, or easily offended by a relaxed personality who shoots straight but also uses humor to relax his patients then he's not the doctor for you. Otherwise, I can't recommend him enough.

Dr. Dewane has been my OB-GYN doctor almost since his first year of practice. He delivered my son and my twin granddaughters. I cannot say enough about how wonderful he is. He is a straight-talker who really cares about his patients, and he has a wicked sense of humor. He is an amazing doctor, too, of course. He has called to check on me when I was having an issue that wasn't even his operational specialty. And his staff is just as wonderful and personable as he is.

My choice and opinions did not matter. I told him multiple times I have very severe reactions to birth control and was told that “it’s not like the others” and handed a pamphlet to read up on. (It was exactly like every other bc method) If I tell you I don’t want it as your PATIENT do not force it upon me. My first reason for going wasn’t even addressed until my second visit because I was just hoping for some relief. Also the nurse is rude and passive aggressive. You weren’t busy so why was it a problem to walk in? If I saw correctly you were eating/drinking behind the counter. If there was a problem you need better communication between staff members. Do not tell me as if I’m a child what I need to do because I actually did the right thing first. It’s your staff that obviously doesn’t know the program. Unbelievable.

Dr. Dewane has been my doctor for sometime now and I can truly say he is the best. Very knowledgeable and gives the best advice. He has a sense of humor that's calming and the staff is phenomenal. Always met with a smile and always leave laughing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dewane for more than 13 years, through two pregnancies. I have recommended him to many, many friends. He is an exceptional physician! Both of my pregnancies were difficult and one was high risk. I felt completely confident in his knowledge, expertise, and skill throughout both. He is honest and forthright, which I appreciate. At times when my anxieties were high over the safety of my unborn baby, he calmed me and gave me clear information and direction. My husband and I both trusted him with our babies, and continue to. He monitored my high risk pregnancy daily and made the decision to deliver one of my babies prematurely to save him. He always answered my questions and concerns and was on call 24/7. He called me back personally to explain test results or answer questions instead of having a nurse do it. When I had to go to the ER for a possible miscarriage, he was out of town. When we called to let him know what was happening, he immediately came back in town to get to the hospital. He takes charge and is confident—he doesn’t let other doctors or nurses care for his patients. He is the only doctor in the practice so you have no worry of seeing a different doctor every time or having someone else deliver your baby. He is well respected in his field—I was initially referred to him by my fertility doctor in Memphis who advised me that he was the best. I couldn’t agree more! He is professional, kind, knowledgeable, and prudent. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

I started out going to Dr.Dewane in 1995 and he has been my OBGYN and the doctor whom delivered my kids ever since then.I have had 4 children from 1995-2013 and I still go to him.The best doctor and staff you could ever wish for.

He’s the best in town. I’ve been seeing him since my teens and now have have gone through three pregnancy’s with him and his staff.
