Horrible doctor. Horrible bedside manners and rude. VERY RUDE.
Dr. Mixon was very helpful
He's an awful person. He accused my husband, who couldn't walk from extreme back pain, that he just came into the emergency room to get narcotics.
My husband came by ambulance because he couldn't walk from back pain. Dr. Mixon accused him of only being there to get narcotics! He is a terrible person. Do not ever go to h for help.
NEVER! I wouldn’t send my dog to this doctor!
My family had a horrific experience with this man. My mother was brought to his ER by ambulance. They did a cat scan of her brain and found many tumors. Dr. Mixon gave this news to my father who is has a hearing problem, and knows no medical terminology. My father asked him if he would please repeat the report to me, (his daughter) once I arrived. He acted irritated at my father’s request. I arrived to the ER soon after this and found Dr. Mixon. I asked could we speak privately and he said “NO”! He went in the room where my mother was and my father was basically hysterical. He said to me in a very blunt and hateful manner “YOUR MOTHER HAS BRAIN METS!” He then left the room abruptly. Having a medical background, I knew this meant she had multiple tumors in her brain. I hope and pray that no other family has to learn such tragic news from this man. He has NO compassion, which only added to our pain.
Do not use this physician.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
