List of Judi Carney's Reviews
Should not be allowed to "care" for women during their most vulnerable moments. Told me that she "didn't want to have to deal with two inductions this weekend, but here I am", when I expressed that I had wanted a unmedicated birth and wanted to minimize my chances of getting a c-section during my induction. Screamed at the nurses because they hadn't started pitocin yet, while we were waiting to see if i would go into labor naturally after the cervadil. Told me that I had to have my water broken right then and there because she wouldn't have time for me later. Then told me that I should just go home if I wasn't going to listen to her about breaking my water, because I obviously wasn't serious about having this baby. Refused to walk me through the risks associated with breaking my water. Ihad to have the nurse walk me through all of my options because Carney stormed out of the room. Didn't see her most of the time I labored, then she complained about the hospital the entire time that she was stitching me up. Bit my head off to put my arm down while I was holding my baby for skin to skin, because of the IV. Then made a huge stink because I wanted to do delayed cord clamping. She was the absolute worst. The nurses said that she's always like this. The office manager at the practice said that she's gotten a ton of bad reviews.
Dr. Carney is an extremely knowledgeable professional. She delivered all 3 of my children. I had one child that had an extremely dangerous case of sac separation. He is a miracle and Dr. Carney was a godsend through that pregnancy.
She’s an amazing doctor I love her so much
Dr.Carnie has been my OBGYN since 2011. She has been so great. She was so compassionate to my husband and I when we had 2 miscarriages. She referred us to a Fertility Specialist that diagnosed me with a rare disease. Once we started medication for the disease we were able to deliver a healthy baby boy in 2014. When we were in labor we did not want anyone but Dr.Carnie to deliver our son. She ran from her office to the hospital to deliver our son. She is an amazing doctor and even more amazing, caring and considerate person. We love you Dr.Carnie. Lakenia Westbrook
I am an OBGYN myself (though I don't work at this practice) and I just love Dr. Carney. It's weird to be the patient when you're used to being on the other side, but she is so sweet and caring. She really takes the time to consider the emotional aspect of what you're going through and makes sure that everything is a shared decision. The office runs super efficiently too, and is very easy to deal with from an administrative standpoint. I will continue to see her for all the rest of my pregnancies!
I had and continue to have a wonderful experience with Dr. Carney and her staff. She has always taken her time to fully answer my questions and the nurses are kind and helpful as well. During my pregnancy, I was naturally nervous. Prior to becoming pregnant, I had feared the eventual process of pregnancy and the potential problems that could arise. Dr. Carney was never an alarmist (which l appreciate), but was always on top of everything. When my amniotic fluid levels began to dip a couple of weeks before my due date, she monitored it carefully. When the levels got low enough, she made the decision to send me to Labor and Delivery. It was a good call. She always gave me enough information to keep me at ease while taking decisive action when needed. Today I have a healthy 5 month old boy. Dr. Carney helped me every step of the way. I never felt like I waited an abnormal amount of time to see her. I'm forever grateful for her expertise. She delivered my son and did a great job stitching me up afterward.
Absolute horrible bedside manners. She gave my wife such a hard time for not coming in and getting induced exactly when another doctor recommended, because my wife had elevated blood pressure (not sever at all)..basically was scolding her. She stressed out my wife and was very cold, talked 100mph being very rude at times. After 30 hrs of labor my wife pushed out our beautiful son (thankfully with another doctor), and the next day Dr. carney comes in asking questions being all cold again and couldn’t even congratulate my wife on having a healthy baby. She needs to retire. Awful doctor.
Love, love, love Dr. Carney. I really appreciate the extra mile Dr. Carney has taken to assure I have a healthy pregnancy. However, her assistant, Unsel, is very rude.
First pregnancy visit was a very negative and stressful experience. She was horrible at explaining what was going on and focused on everything that could go wrong rather than the next step. After 4 hours in the waiting room she walks in and tells us congratulations and then goes on and on about different medicines for something not even related to our visit. Warning: she talks a thousand miles an hour. We walked out of there more confused than when we first went in. If you want someone with a good bedside manner that cares about you and your baby this is not your doctor.
I have waited to post this. I used to be her patient but stopped going in 2019. The staff is not very friendly past the check in desk. Beepers are not patient friendly. Waiting is so long, could knit a sweater. My issue was emergency surgery in Panama City in June 2019. I had excurienting pain in my lower abdomen and was taken by ambulance to hospital. After surgery, was shown picture of 8lb tumor on my left ovary. Not sure how that had been missed during examination. I had complained I was tired all the time also. Was told it was probably because I was getting older. I should have followed my gut feeling and gone elsewhere. The way I was treated for follow up after I got back home wasn't good either. You are lucky to get 5 minutes with the DR. Changed to a smaller practice and happy I did. I just wish I had done so sooner. I had been going to this DR's office for over 40 years. There is a thing as too big and this DR's office is a prime example of that now.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
