Justin Monroe Md's Online Review Report Card

I love Dr. Monroe he is one of the best doctor around. He explained everything so thoroughly about my care. I was referred to him from my Urologist and he sent me to the best. Thank you Dr. Monroe for being such a caring Physician the world would be a lot better with caring Doctors like you.

He started off as being attentive in the pre-op appointment but after the surgery, I had to go to E.R. for high fever, and sutures busted open in which the E.R. doctor needed to contact Monroe regarding taking a device out of the wound. I was informed that he said that he was ok with what the E.R. doctor needed to do. Two weeks later at the follow up appointment Monroe accused me of removing the device myself and called me a liar in front of the intern and nurse. I then reminded him that the doctor had called him and Monroe denied it and claimed also that it wasn’t documented in my chart. I was so humiliated because of the area and type of surgery that I had and was now getting lectured by the person that performed the embarrassing procedure just like I was a mischievous child.

Dr. Monroe is the BEST!! Had surgery a few weeks ago, everything that Dr Monroe told me was exactly how my surgery went. He is Awesome as far as I'm concerned

Dr Monroe did surgery on my Husband did a great job, we did have some issues after but he was right there to get things back on the right track. I am so grateful to him.

Dr. J. Monroe started out as an attentive provider with hints of arrogance in the initial appointment to schedule surgery but I brushed it off as confidence. After getting the surgery I had to go to E.R. for fever and sutures busting open and white blood count was elevated. The E.R. doctor called him to let him know that I was there and to advise him on taking something out of my wound that he okayed. At the two week follow up appointment his true colors came out! He accused me of taking out the device because it wasn’t listed in my chart notes that it was removed in the emergency room. I politely reminded him that the E.R. doctor called him regarding the surgical wound situation and he flat out called me a liar in front of the intern and nurse that was also in the room. Then he was totally arrogant and brash lecturing me like I was his child or prisoner. I was embarrassed because this type of surgery is very humiliating and the person that did it was so Narcissistic.

Me .Monroe is a God send to humans! He has a honest face and soul! I’m a child of God and I’m his patient for 2 yrs n I cud haven’t gotten a better Doctor than he! Love you Dr. Monroe

11 years ago I did not have any insurance at my job. I met Dr. Monroe through the Church Health Services program. He treated me like a VIP patient. We had some questions on exactly where this tumor was in my colon. He was straight forward, pros and cons. Everything went well and I heard through the grapevine he was the best. He checked on me twice a day when I was in the hospital. I call his number every year and leave a thank you message. He was not only a professional doctor he was a person who cared.

My surgery wnet great and I had a very good experience with no surprises. And I continue to improve with every passing day.

For me the BEST surgeon ever. Due to colon cancer had a colon re-section and all went very smoothly. His care and follow-up was great. He always took time and was very clear on all my procedures. Explained everything. Kind and considerate.

Dr. Monroe is absolutely the rudest, most arrogant medical provider ever. He was referred for a very embarrassing issue that I've been dealing with for many years which has worsened to the extent my entire quality of life is compromised. He blew off all my concerns, insinuated I have OCD about hygiene (I don't remember psychiatry on his resume), and told me to find a plastic surgeon! I don't know if my insurance will cover surgery now after his diagnosis of "elective". ZERO empathy; total jerk!!
