Katharine Cox's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Gabriel-Cox is currently on a year-long sabbatical, and all of her loyal patients (like me) are quite distraught without her! I've had a lot of complicated situations over the years, and she has gone above and beyond to help address my questions, issues and needs. She's even been strategic with billing my insurance - something many doctors won't take the time to think through with you. After years of many other OB GYNs, I'm here to tell you she is THE BEST, and you will find no better care.

Could not have asked for a better OBGYN for all 3 of my pregnancies. Though she is tightly booked (because she is awesome) she always had an opening for me when I needed one. I'm so happy I got such a wonderful person to help bring my babies into the world.

This isn't for the Doctor but for the front staff. I haven't even been able to see this "wonderful" doctor. I have cancer and my surgeon has referred me to Dr. Gabriel-Cox. Being that I do have cancer I have been missing so much work and I am doing everything that I can to miss as few hours a day that I possibly can.Last week they scheduled me an appointment to see her for today and told me I would be going to the Santa Cruz office which is no more than 2 miles from me. Well then I get a voice mail at 7:30am this morning telling me to call into the office. I call in and the lady that answered the phone has no clue why I am calling - I told her someone left a message for me to call into the office. She said is this for your appointment in Watsonville today? I said Watsonville? No one ever mentioned anything about Watsonville when we were scheduling the appointment. She said Oh that is why they were calling you. I told her that I need to reschedule for an appointment in Santa Cruz only and that this is just a consultation and not an important visit. She said all visits are important and that she is pretty booked at both locations - she didn't help me one bit. I said fine - I will just find another doctor and she said ok and hung up the phone.....Seriously? I just told you that I cannot miss that much work - this was only a consultation. Please do your job and just schedule me at the next available time for the Santa Cruz location...how hard is that? So I am sorry. 2 stars. You are representing this office on the forefront with appointments and scheduling and you did not do your job. Thanks for NOT caring.

Wonderful doctor; tightly booked schedule. Personable, friendly, very caring.

Hands down the most personable, professional and knowledgeable doctor I have ever seen. I enjoy and look forward to seeing her. She doesn't just treat me as a patient, she connects with me. Her demeanor is calm, she is incredibly approachable and non-judgmental, she has a great sense of humor, makes me feel supported, is compassionate and instills in me a confidence unlike any other MD!I highly recommend her to all of my friends and family...the only reason I would hesitate is that her patient list is already packed so the more people she sees, the further out my appointments would be!

Dr Cox helped my daughter recently and was brilliant and quite courteous. Despite the rest of the ED being very busy, Dr. Cox spent ample time with my daughter and me. My daughter could not stop talking praise about Dr. Cox when we got home and at her school the next day. I would recommend Dr. Cox to anyone. Ask for her if you take your child to LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
