List of Kenneth Fields's Reviews
Kenneth Fields is a horrible person.
Alfred Blair says mr fields that his balls haven’t dropped and he will be seeing him ever again !!!!! Complete joke and waste of time
I agree with another reviewer (Kristen McGrill) concerning Dr. Fields. I have a rare genetic condition that causes several serious issues. Dr. Fields seemed like he couldn’t care any less about the level of care he gave me. He referred to my previous provider, who is also a POC, as “the other guy.” Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Also, he stated at my first appointment that he had received my previous GI records when asked. He went on to stated that he had also reviewed these records, when in fact he had NOT received the previous medical records at all! Also, my records for GI Specialists were/are inaccurate and incomplete. He does NOT care about his patients equally. If you are a POC, run very, very far! Because I wouldn’t let him care for my sick dog! It will be in your best interests in the long-run…
If you are a person of color please don't visit DR. Kenneth Fields, because him or his staff do not care. On Jan 4th I had my 1st visit with Dr. Kenneth Fields. Mr. Fields came in I stated my symptoms for him and told him I was still in pain from the gallbladder attacks I had been having. He agreed that maybe it was my gallbladder but wouldn't know for sure until he did a test. Mr. Fields told me he couldn't give me anything for pain but would prescribe me Pantoprozole that could possibly help. I went home a few days later I recvd a call saying my liver enzymes was high they need to do some more blood work. I came in did blood work and everything came back negative. A few days later I received a call stating that they forgot to do a different test I needed to come back . Went back had the test done and was told I needed to do another test this time they confirmed I had gallstones but 4 days later I was to do another test to look at my stomach. Well of course I complained because Im still in pain and constantly getting test ran(which I had to pay for out of pocket because they were not covered by my insurance) after I had been diagnosed with gallstones but nothing for pain. After my last test I was told my stomach looked good. And was sent home. No one contacted me after that for a follow up plan or anything. I begin to have additional gallbladder attacks so I ended up calling and emailing them to let them know I was still having the gallbladder attacks were they going to do anything to help me . And was told to just make a new appointment. Well I did with whole new Dr. , Dr. Bowden, who went through my chart/ x-rays and immediately referred me to a surgeon because my gallbladder needs to be removed. Mr. Fields did nothing to Assist me , his nurse was very rude and I do not recommend any person of color go to him as soon as I complained about him running test after test and me paying out of pocket he no longer tried to assist me.
Everyone is so nice and really helped ease my anxiety.
Dr Fields is a wonderful Specialist. He has the kindest and caring bedside manner of any Dr I have ever had the pleasure of being referred to by the company I am now retired from.
Dr. Fields and all of his nurses are very caring and helpful. This is an excellent Gastro Doctor that I would absolutely recommend.
Had an appointment at 3:30 today. Called the office at 3:27 to tell them I was very lost and asked for directions. The receptionist from the office got me straightened out and I walked in at 3:47. The receptionist was extremely rude and informed me I wouldn’t be seen for being late. I told her I had just drove over an hour and a half and that I had called earlier. She refused to do anything or speak to anyone. I’ll now be looking for a new GI doctor. I’ve heard he is a good doctor but his staff needs new training in how they handle patients.
Kind and very thoughtful and considerate of your feelings while trying to get to better health.
I have been going to Dr.Fields for years! I've had many upper gi scopes, and my esophagus stretched many times, trust him completely! He is very professional and explains everything. I would highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
