Leah Tonkin's Online Review Report Card

I can’t even begin to understand any of the bad reviews for this saint of a woman. I 100% believe I would not have my son or the baby I’m pregnant with now without the help of Dr. Tonkin. When I first went to her I had lost three babies all in one year and no other doctor in the city would even help me if I hadn’t been “trying” for over two years. The day I got a positive with my son she had me in the office an hour later to check my levels. Upon learning I was severely lacking progesterone she had me on progesterone that day until I was 12 weeks. She checked on my son and was so reassuring through the whole process. I’m now pregnant with what will be my final baby and she is caring for me in the same way this time around. She genuinely cares about her patients and makes me feel like I can come to her with any concerns. You won’t find a better doctor in this state. The ones that think she’s can drop everything to have a phone call with you when her nurses communicate directly with her to then communicate with you is a bit on the entitled side. Once my daughter is old enough I will never take her anywhere but here. I would want to know she’s with the best and that means she’s with Dr. Tonkin.

Seeing Dr. Tonkin was a great decision. Professional and personable, I never felt rushed or uncomfortable asking a question. When concerns arose, she was able to explain them well. She also has the capacity to show genuine empathy and concern for her patients. As an LGBTQQIA+ patient, I always felt welcomed and affirmed with this provider and with staff in this office. When delivery did not progress normally and a c-section was required, Dr. Tonkin performed efficiently and I healed quickly without complications.

Makes you feel embarrassed and not very compassionate. Such a bad experience

My experience was not what I expected she was a fill in for the doctor I was suppose to see. No return calls only the nurse when there is a major concern about a procedure that a patient need answers to the doctor that did the procedure should be calling the patient. Not the nurse or the manager. I was told the manager will get back with me as of jan. 4, 2020. The manager or nurse did not see me Dr. C. Tonkin MD did. This is very upsetting to me and my husband and very much not professional. I have made several calls it's to much of back and forth so I will have to take my next steps to get answers.

Dr. Tonkin is the reason our son arrived in the world a healthy little guy! I couldn’t ask for a better more supportive doctor!

Dr. Tonkin is the most caring doctor I ever met she is so kind humble just a beautiful person she listens and she is a great Dr. she is the best OB/GYN I ever had. She always got that big pretty smile. She enjoy what she does and that make a big difference. Love you Dr. Tonkin.
