People efficient, as well as nice and caring.

Great staff and Dr. Berkwits is one of the best Pain Doctors in the Midsouth. I would highly recommend him.

This doctor didn’t seemed interested in my medical records and history; I tried at least twice to get his staff to give me instructions (before my first visit) on how to get them to him-which he admitted he needed but appeared unconcerned about staff not following through. He wanted to start all over on my treatment plan (failed beginning 15 years ago) and was in a hurry. Other reviews state this practice is more interested in getting multiple visits and procedures (they own multiple surgical/procedure facilities) than actually addressing YOUR needs. I have never wrote a one star review for an MD but it is warranted in this case.

Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

Arrogant provider doesn’t seem to care much about patients or the pain they suffer from. Also commits HIPPA violations in office. Discriminates against younger patients. If you are young, you can’t be in that much pain. Just think it away. “Mind over matter” if that worked I would be healed already!!!

This doctor was so rude to me by the time I had surgery date done he took me into the room lay down face down supposed to inject 2 3 4 5 and what happened he stuck the needle in and I felt so excruciating pain every inch but he put the needle in I was about to throw up he did it once he did it twice and then he's put the third in where was supposed to be he did the Second Sight and he pushed it in then he pushed into the second time he pushed it into the third time and I was about to faint and then the third time he pushed it one he pushed it twice I fainted in the operating room he called we need to terminate the procedure and I went to recovery with very low blood pressure stayed there about the hour with my head down on the floor in the hospital bed so I can get my blood pressure back up and then I look at what was being done and he had billed my insurance company for completing the procedure which no novocaine would ever injected into me

Dr Berkwits was arrogant from the word GO, his staff seemed terrified of him. I spoke with him 10 minutes, as protocol, he sent me to another Dr for evaluation on whether I could be an addict, then had a second appointment, which resulted in seeing an insulting, also arrogant, unqualified P. A. She accused me of taking one of my medications for a condition I have NEVER had !!! Told me I was lying, tried to block the door when I decided to just leave rather than be humiliated further, and then a staff member was sent down the hallway after me, and she said the “Dr” had said I had to come back !!!! DON’T GO TO THIS SO CALLED SPECIALIST !!!!!!!

Very knowledgeable doctor. Knew EXACTLY what I needed and explained everything thoroughly. I was not able to walk for 2 weeks and went to Dr. Berkwitz. Immediately after my treatment for back problems, I was able to walk and have been doing good for over 1 1/2 years. He is a blessing in my life.

Terrible physician. Literally badmouthed another physician, hurried through appointments and when he did my back procedure, was rude, performed the burn improperly and kept telling staff they needed to hurry up. DO NOT BOTHER. He should have his license revoked!!!!
