I went with my wife to Dr. Vanderwalde. Her bedside manner was almost non-existent and when my wife questioned some things, she seemed to become irritated that we just didn’t accept her recommendation, after only 15 minutes total time with her. We have gone to another breast cancer doctor who gave several options explaining everything and answering our questions over one hour, treating and calming my wife with a viable plan going forward. We cannot recommend this doctor since there was no individual care or any other options presented to us.

She's a very sweet Doctor. I didn't spend much time with her but I didn't feel rushed, her staff was efficient, and she did a surgery that didn't get infected. Which all deserves 5 stars. :)

Was very dissatisfied with the way my biopsy results were handled..called twice before follow-up and was responded to with rudeness...COMPASSION Was definitely not shown in my experience .

Dr. VanDerwalde is a very caring physician. She takes time to discuss and explain any questions and I have never felt like I was rushed. I felt very comfortable with pre/post/continuing care after breast surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. VanDerwalde and her staff.
