Lisa Kennedy's Online Review Report Card

I see her at Methodist north for my lung disease and she consulted with me about my lung biopsy choices. She's very intelligent and patient. She sits and has a real conversation with you and you don't feel rushed by her answers to your questions. She's an excellent Dr!!

Excellent doctor. Very helpful and concerned about what is important to the patient. She explained everything great and helped me feel at ease. She is very smart and helpful.

kept me on breathing tube for almost 3 weeks and caused me many problems. My kidneys were badly damaged and my breathing tube is paralyzed in the open position for the rest of my life. I am only 52 years old and this have damaged my quality of life

Dr. Kennedy is an excellent doctor. She cares about her patients and knows what she's talking about. The hospital staff obviously respect her. I would recommend her to anyone.

It would be fair to szy that Dr. Kennedy has saved my mother's life on more thsn one occasion. She has advocated with other doctors on her behalf. She explains every condition, is encouraging, and truly cares about my mother's well-being. It is obvious that the staff trusts and respects her.

Dr Kennedy is, indeed, very busy and you usually have a wait to get an appointment. But I found my overall care from Dr. Kennedy to be of very high quality. I came in gasping for breath every time I walked very far(maybe 20 yds.) With her help and the medication she prescribed, I can now walk for extended periods and feel like I have my life back. Her staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. She has a wonderful nurse practioner who does the breathing tests. He is extremely patient and knowledgeable. I feel lucky to have found Dr. Kennedy when I did.

Critical care Intensivist and Pulmonologist unavailable when needed, delaying treatment and discouraged referral. Perhaps too busy to be effective. Failed to follow patient's treatment after discharge from hospital, resulting in readmission. Was openly hostile, refused to listen to patient and/or family concerns. Was the only pulmonologist that practiced in the hospital at that time so no other specialist in her field, outside her or members of her group as fill-ins in her absence, was available. On at least one occasion was unavailable to an in-hospital patient in crisis, to his family or even his admitting physician. The reason for posting here is to alert others who may question her professional competence so they may avoid her and the hospital where she is head of critical care or in her specialty. (The patient died after long painful period in ICU.)
