Excellent. Dr. Pomykala is a very caring doctor.

I am very disappointed in my doctors office, I have been going here for years and never ran into this issue. I went in for an allergic reaction I was having. My doctor Pomykala sent off lab work to a out of network lab. I was not aware that this lab was out of network. I did not know I had to check my insurance on everything my doctor do. But I have learned after this experience that I do. I received a almost 1,000 dollar lab bill. I think it’s unfair to the patient, I came in to my IN network doctor and was unaware of the lab she was using. No one warned it’s a possibility the lab we use might be out of network. Check your insurance before we proceed. I have never experienced this!!! I am very disappointed!! It’s like no one cares about patients anymore just there money there going to collect. I had a family member that worked at this clinic for over 6 years before she died. I am in disbelief how they handled my situation. I call my doctor nurse and the office manager. No one cares . There like oh well that’s your problem . Please check with your insurance before getting anything done with this doctor.

Dr. Pomykala and her staff are amazing! I’ve been her patient for over 14 years and have referred several of my friends to her, and they too say that she is amazing! I had changed Doctors about 5 years ago and it didn’t take me long to know that I had made a BIG mistake! Now I’m back and plan on being her patient until God call me home.

Nurse Dee and Dr. Pomykala are an amazing team! Fun, but also kind and attentive! Listened to everything I said, and filled in my chart accordingly. Actually had a GREAT time at my doctor's appointment maybe for the first time ever with these two! Thank you both so much!

Dr. Pomykala is an excellent physician. I would recommend her and her nursing staff . They are very helpful and accommodating when they talk to you directly. Unfortunately, the reception area has taken a dive . I will not go back to this facility because of the rude demeanor I experienced.

My wife saw Dr Pomykala for about a year, she was a ok Dr. Her visits were almost 2 hours long (1 hour and 45 mins waiting to be checked in and then waiting in room for a long time to be seem). Thats not the real problem though. Her office staff are terrible (receptionist for her should be fired, she can't hear for the life of her and doesn't know how to do her job and verify insurance prior to visits!) My wife changed from Cigna Open access to Local Plus and she was never warned prior to visit and even at checkin that her insurance changed and that she would now be out of network, even after she looked at my wife's new insurance card. My wife just was asking a few simple question and dr wanted to do some labs. If she would have known the entire visit would be out of network she would have canceled appt. So since she didn't know she went to her visit. 1 month later I see it process through insurance in Sept 2018 and it stated out of network, I called billing dept and explained everything. I was told by billing dept twice that if we paid the Doctor charge ( about $100), they would write off the blood work (about $500). I was like done. and we paid that and I thought we were done. So almost 8 months later June 2019 we get a bill in the mail for almost $500 from this place, and it was not written off. I called again billing dept and they said that the office manager would have to look into it. After many times of trying to get a hold of the office manager, with no results, we went there in person and was able to speak with her about everything including billing dept saying "writing off" She said that it was our responsibly to make sure Dr was in network etc..We mentioned that it is also the provider responsibility to let patiences know if they are going to be out of network. Regardless after even filing a complaint with the TN consumer affairs, with no response by this place. By the office manger not during her job and training the people at the desk, she was no help or even seemed to care about the situation, even through she could have looked at this case and made the decision to have it written off do to her office not doing their job and reception lady should be let go or re-trained. I am sure she still works there!

I just love her! It was my first visit, a complete physical ..(now mind you I hadn’t seen a medical doctor in over three years due to a previous unpleasant experience)..even though, I came to her with about 10 years worth of complaints to be discussed in a single visit she was very patient, attentive and engaging with a warm spirit...All my needs and concerns were eagerly addressed and I was very pleased...also her medical staff..medical assistants were awesome ..diligent and helpful..the entire facility is well ran and a well run machine... In the past 24 hours I have recommended her to friends, family and coworkers...cause I am thankful for her being recommended to me.

Tried for two months to get an authorization for my B/P medication, could not get it from Dr. Pomykala’s office. When I saw my Cardiologist I told the nurse the problem and she got my authorization in 15 minutes. Now, I am out of a medication, been calling and emailing Dr. Pomykala’s office for four days, still no renewal for my prescription. In looking at my med list, it has been deleted with not notification to me. I have been on the autoimmune medication for several years. Very upset with the lack of caring from this office. Looking for a new internal medicine physician.

Pulling teeth on trying to get a referral to send to my insurance company for ear infection. I was see. In emergency room 2 days ago was told I need to see a specialist. I have called Dr. Pomykala office 4 x spoke to Abby stated both days the doctor looks at referrals at 3:30 -4:00 pm and that they will give her the notes. I’m still in pain and still waiting on a referral! I have tri-care prime so she is my primary doctor and you have to get a referral from your primary doctor in order to be seen by any specialist. You would think a red flag would have pulled up if a patient went to emergency room has paperwork that’s says to follow up with a specialist that would trigger a priority referral. Not happy with her process and the staff not able to expedite the referral.

She actually listens and comes up with a plan. Best Dr. Ever!
