Lucy L Bruijn's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr Bruijn for over a year now and she has been great. She is always very attentive and concerned about making sure any health concerns are addressed. The office staff is also great and so welcoming!!

I had my first visit with Dr Brujin this week and found her to be thorough, kind and helpful. I have been to a lot of doctors in the past who were not those things so I always brace myself when going to a new one. I was very pleasantly surprised. The office itself is a bit underwhelming but that’s no reflection on her or her skills. Good bedside manner and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Bruijn does not value your time. My first visit I waited in the back office for over an hour. Today I waited 30 minute and I leave. I did not see the doctor. Today was a waste of my time.

Dr. Bruijn was very kind and knowledgeable in my visit with her. She seems to truly care about her patients and their medical problems.

Dr. Bruijn listens to me. Many doctors have a preconceived idea of one solution fits all patients , She tries to find a solution for the exact ailment.

Clearly this office has no regard for their patients' health. I had an appointment scheduled for 2:30. I got off work, drove all the way across town and they literally cancelled the appointment while I was in the waiting room. What? You can't cancel an appointment 15 minutes before the appointment with me sitting in the waiting room. And on a Friday? They offered to reschedule me for next Thursday. Next Thursday? I'm sick now, not a week from now.

Mom was extremely sick for months. She had no energy and could not walk. Whenever we called the doctor, she would tell her to go to er. Everytime we would go to the er or even after she was admitted and discharged, they told us to follow up at her dr office within a few days however the doctor would never have an opening. Then we finally went and the receptionist said that the doctor could not see her and my aunt asked the receptionist to ask the doctor personally about my moms situation but she would not ask her. Once my mom and aunt left, the office called for my mom to come back and my aunt told her that they were already at the er. She can barely walk or move and she's not coming back. My mom ended up getting referred to another PCP and is doing much better now.

My experience with Dr Lucy Bruijn was very unpleasant. On the two occasions that I visited the office she did not actively listen to my concerns regarding my health. She was very stagnant and oblivious to the fact that I am the patient, and I know what works for me. I was overwhelmed by her unprofessional approach and rude demeanor. Due to these uneasy experiences, I will no longer be a patient for this doctor.

I am floored at the lack of care or comon concern that Dr Bucci exhibits.She is utterly robotic,ineffectual,and less informative than a magazine ad.I have went to this doctor several times and it was with little to no result each visit.I have a bite/rash situation that is very uncomfortable,and she cannot make a diagnosis,nor prescribe anything for help.Dr.Bucci also told me she would refer me to an endocrinologist many months ago and when I asked about the appointment and when I would get one,she looked at me and said did you not get the letter?I responded no,and asked if she could get the apponitment as I am having difficulty with my thyroid health.Again,she was completely robotic and responded well they should have contacted you by now.I asked her when can I expect that to come about?She never gave me an answer,but instead told me she was leaving her job here at the clinic and moving back to the mainland.I asked why?She said that there is and I quote"Too much spiritual warfare on Hawaii Island"unquote.All I know is she has been completely rude and ineffective uttelry at each visit I've had with Dr.Bucci.I would NEVER reccomend this doctor to anyone.

My experience with Dr. Lucy Bucci was very good. She is so kind, so smart, and very professional in the way she treated her patients, checking their cases, and in giving her patients her recommendation. I am lucky to have her as my general doctor.
