It was three weeks ago I had an appointment with Dr. Carro, and I expressed my highly satisfactory experience with him and his staff, as a new patient. Dr. Carro put together a plan to relieve my back and my neck pain. In fact, a part of the plan is to receive a type of physical therapy. What was the target physical therapy he recommended? Dry needling. And, it is with great pleasure I submit to anyone in need of relief and desire a physical therapist with patience and house extraordinary professionalism, and knows his craft Ronald "Ronnie" Montgomery at Semmes Murphey is who I recommend. After my initial session with Ronnie, I felt relief in my back and my neck. Oh my! Dry needling works and the exercises one has to do at home to increase muscle mass, and maximize the chances of getting the pain relief needed to get back to normal, routine activities.

Patient of Semmes & Murphy over 20 years and Dr Carro is the worst I have ever experienced. I cannot believe Semmes Murphy is associated with a physician with such poor concernment. Karen Adams Director of Operations intervened and was very professional.

Terrible bedside manner, could care less if you are there. Seemed utterly bored while I was (still am) in a lot of pain. After finally diagnosing me (and was surprised I actually had a problem, indicating he thought I was lying the whole time), he sent me for some nerve blocks, but never bothered scheduling a follow up appointment. So now I have no clue what to do. Exactly opposite results from the supposed best spinal clinic in the greater Memphis area. Highly don't recommend him!

I thought Dr. Carro was very professional and helpful. He listened to my problem and provided prescriptions to help my pain before I got my X-ray and MRI since they were weeks away. Upbeat and friendly.

I absolutely would recommend Dr. Carro to my family and friends. He is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. He has a good sense of humor and is a great conversationalist which helps me to relax during my appointment.

With scoliosis and previous spine surgeries, his opinion was I was having no issues related to my back and was perfectly fine, even though I am having symptoms of failed fusion again. He completely brushed me off. Why be a physician if you aren't going to even try to help people? If I could give zero stars, I would. He doesn't deserve one.
