Marcia Bowden's Online Review Report Card

Didnt like the last couple of visits I had. Dr.Bowden acted as if she was ready to go or so busy that I only seen her for about 2 minutes and didnt help resolve my problem.Had to go to another Dr. to get problem solved. Not good service at all especailly dealing with your health.

I feel cared for as a person. The entire office is professional, but very caring with a special touch for the patients.

Awesome physician. I would recommend her to anyone.

Awesome Awesome Awesome Definitely my new place to go! Dr. Bowden is Awesome and Amazing such a sweetheart! She is soooo helpful with about your health and strives to listen to what her patients concerns are. Her staff Laquesta and team is also amazing and most of all they still have Covid19 protection for all clients…..not many people care to take TEMPS at the door ANYMORE but THEY CHECK TEMPS, MASK PROTOCOL ETC! So grateful she serviced me and she never meet me BEFORE ONLY ONCE! I’m so excited Ms.Shuntae from Quest referred me to her! My new PCP!!!

Dr Bowden is a great Dr, I've been going to her for 20 years now she takes the time to listen and has a great bedside manner

If you desire professional medical support and a doctor and staff that meet the expectation level they set, then please do NOT waste your time with this facility. This doctor met with me once for a 360 exam where upon I very clearly stated my needs, concerns, and requirements. She assured me that her assistant, Cici, would contact me the following day to set up appointments/referrals for the issues we discussed. This was prior to Covid, yet I NEVER heard from Cici...NEVER received the referrals...and NEVER received the appointments. I took it upon myself to locate a major provider, and only this past week contacted Bowden's staff for a mammogram referral. Days later her staff left a voicemail requesting a return call. Upon returning the call, her staff had no idea who called nor why they called...I hung up .Then her manager, Ira, called back inquiring about my dissatisfaction. I told him that Bowden had failed to provide any support to the issues I'd discussed with her during our initial meeting in February, and that they only contacted me once after the initial meeting to tell me my pressure was high and suggested that I go to Walmart or Walgreens to check it for myself and let them know if it stayed high so they would know if Bowden should prescribe medication. I told him that I would find a different provider as yeah, you can go to Bowden's and be entertained with their antics, joking, and familiar manner...but when it came down to handling business they fell far short of all goals. He asked me for the list of things I'd initially requested of Bowden and said he'd contact me today with appointments and/or referrals as he wanted to redeem the relationship. Well...I just got off the phone with Bowden herself who obviously didn't understand her manager's notes or failed to understand the reason for my discontent...she immediately referenced the mammogram referral which I confirmed was done...she then didn't understand the dissatisfaction with the referral and REFUSED me the respect and courtesy to listen to my reason for dissatisfaction. The problem was NOT the referral that I requested...the problem was they NEVER referred me to a psychiatrist...they NEVER scheduled my annual physical exam..they did say my thyroid levels were off but NEVER prescribed medication...they NEVER scheduled my mammogram though I informed her my sister recently died of breast cancer...I requested the referral again MONTHS after the initial request...they NEVER scheduled an appointment with an ENT...you get the picture. She and her staff are a joke and a true blight on the medical establishment. Venture into her world at your own risk...you've been warned. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau and my insurance provider as well.
