I have been more than satisfied with Dr Shermer. My condition is better than it has ever been since my first visit. I have total confidence in Dr. Shermer's ability. He keeps me abreast of what I need to do for my health. He goes over my lab results and explains it clearly. He communicates with my other doctors to better help me. I am totally pleased with Dr. Shermer.

Dr. Shermer takes time to address my concerns and goes over my lab results with me. He has a great personality and I have no problem getting an appointment or getting in to see him. His office runs smoothly too.

This is THE BEST nephrologist I have ever had! I’ve been on dialysis since I was a young teenager and I have had a lot of different doctors. He listens and laughs and works with his patients. He KNOWS them and really cares!! He will work with you to come up with the best fitting option. Dialysis is scary and the drs appointments are like hurry up and wait wherever you go, but waiting for him doesn’t seem as tedious, because you know you will get answers or at least get the ball rolling. I can’t say enough great things about this man. Set up an appointment and start getting answers and quality treatment.

Dr. Shermer is always very thorough in checking lab work and in explaining every aspect of my condition. I have full confidence in his ability in nephrology. He also consults with other physicians to coordinate care, and I find him to be a very caring physician. My only concern is a lack of ability to get a telephoned question through to him for his opinion on a given situation between appointments.

My mother sees this Doctor. I really like him. He make his round at the hospital at all times. It could be 11 or 12 at night and you will see him. He is very caring doctor. my mother has been with him since 2001. Like any doctor you have to wait for you appt. But he never in a rush to get you out. He spends lots of time explain and going over stuff.
