I saw Dr. McDonald a year ago. It was my first gyno visit. She did not give me warning before beginning the exam. In fact I was in the middle of responding to one of her questions. I was caught off guard and I clenched up really bad. This didn't deter her from continuing with the exam. In fact she made the comment "I bet you're rethinking getting an IUD" (the reason for my visit was to discuss BC options). I only realized how badly I had tensed up when it was over and I felt my butt cheeks un clench. I was in pain for weeks afterwards and have had several symptoms of hypertonic pelvic floor muscles, which I believe were triggered by her rough handling. While I have some concerns about my reproductive health in the last year, it's taking me this long to feel that I can go see another doctor. I will not see Dr, McDonald again, but I am very anxious now about any pelvic exam because of my experience in her office.

Dr. McDonald is wonderful about explaining your situation and getting to the point. Her bedside manners are quite good, also. Thank you for all the help you give us.??

Dr. McDonald has been my Gynecologist for many years now. She gives a very thorough examination and is a skilled problem solver. She listens and offers her insight and there is a discussion regarding my health. She cares about me as a person and is definitely driven to see me feel and live better. She is patient and positive in demeanor.

I went to this doctor because I heard she was the best. First of the their wait time is always greater than 1 hour. 2nd if you need to talk to your doctor because you have a question or a concern...you can't even talk to your doctor. If you have your baby during the night or on the weekend she will not be the one delivering your baby. Next the staff is rude and not friendly. It takes days before they even respond back to you after you call several times and leave several messages. The communication is also very poor at their office. I wouldn't recommend this doctor or any other doctor at the McDonald Murmanns women clinic
