I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt the need to share this. Today was my first appointment with Dr. Baron as a new patient. I was really excited to meet him because of the reviews I have read. Wrong! He was polar opposite from the reviews. I was extremely disappointed from the beginning to the end of the appointment. It was bad. I started out by sharing my information about my diabetes, obstacles I have overcome and positive goals I wanted to achieve. He didn’t really seem to listen or support my progress or my goals. He immediately went into other medications that would work better. Again, this is my first visit and I would think a brand new doc would be more supportive and encouraging to a new patient. No! I also shared with him about the extreme amount of stress I was under due to my moms cancer and me being her caregiver. He proceeded to ask the name of her Oncologist and ask her age and responded “Well she is 92”. Again, no kindness or caring. I left there in tears..

Dr. Ruiz-Baron is an excellent doctor. He cares for his patients and listens to them. His staff are wonderful too. I would recommend him to everyone.
