I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr.Stacks and his staff, they are very profesional, clean and caring !! I've been in Memphis for 5 years and out 3 OBGYN he is the BEST! He delivered my first born son in 2018 and made me feel so comfortable, he's the BEST doc I've met since I've been in memphis. Im looking forward to him delivering all my children because I feel safe with him, I pray he lives a long Beautiful peaceful life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Love Dr.Stack and his whole staff! Everybody makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. He delivered my son last year and it was the smoothest experience from beginning all the way to the end. Very clean, neat, and comfortable office.

Dr. Stack is awesome! He has been my OB/GYN for over 16 yrs! He makes you feel very comfortable and truly cares about his patients. Every person that I've recommended loves him as well.

I saw Dr. Stack as my GYN for 2-3 years and had absolutely no issues. However, it was a totally different story once I got pregnant. I am a practitioner myself and am the MOST patient about long waits, change of plans, etc. because i have been there on the other side and totally get it. I'd also like to say that I have NEVER written a negative review on a physician in my life. However, I want to save a future momma from the headache, frustration, and overall sadness that I felt over the last year. The first issue arose when I was going in for my anatomy scan with my husband. His front staff rudely told me that my husband wasn't welcome because of COVID, which I totally understand but they couldn't be bothered to send a letter, email, or phone call to notify us of the change in their procedures (my husband came to every ultrasound previously). So my husband missed a day of work for no reason. No big deal. Then, I was in the hospital with COVID19 for one week (on oxygen, blood thinners, signing emergency delivery papers at 26 weeks pregnant, etc). and both the high risk OBGYN at the hospital and myself were completely unable to reach Dr. Stack to ask medically necessary questions and ensure adequate follow up. I had to educate his RN and front desk staff on why it was imperative that I have my labs drawn (I was needing multiple electrolyte supplements that require prescriptions) when I was discharged. His staff kept trying to delay my appointment (even after the quarantine period recommended by CDC) and no one would let me actually speak to Dr. Stack. I was then admitted twice due to headaches and hypertension at the hospital Dr. Stack was to deliver my baby at... I only saw him one time and the rest of my care was completely performed by the hospital's internal medicine doctors. I never saw my doctor despite being 37 and 38 weeks pregnant experiencing complications. Dr. Stack didn't arrive until I made a huge fuss and complained up the chain to the director of nursing. During my delivery, my baby' heart rate was dropping during contractions, which I knew wasn't good from my own education. I pointed this out to Dr. Stack and to the nurse. I was ignored. Turns out, the cord was wrapped around my baby's neck and shoulder the whole time. Praise the Lord it didn't cause any issues besides very likely delaying my labor. Then Dr. Stack did my son's circumcision. Except he didn't. He cut my child but basically did nothing. My son's primary care pediatrician thought my child was uncircumcised by choice. And now we have to see a urologist at the hospital and my son has to get re circumcised because he's likely at risk for adhesions and therefore urinary tract infections. Oh and to do it at this age, my 4 month old son has to be completely sedated. The last thing I want to do in the middle of a pandemic. So I have to choose between risking painful adhesions and UTIs or putting my child to sleep when he turns 6 months old and we're in the middle of a pandemic. To just add insult to injury, I got the bill for my son's "circumcisions" and when I called the office and civilly explained the situation, I was told "it's basically cosmetic surgery, sorry if you don't like how it looks." Except it's not as simple as "liking how it looks" at this point, now it's medically necessary because it was already partially done. Front desk staff are unorganized and communication is terrible. I guarantee you see turn over 4 times during your pregnancy. And I think that alone should say something. Do NOT ever expect to talk to Dr. Stack unless you are seeing him in person on a scheduled visit. If you call to speak with him, even during normal business hours, even about an emergency where you are hospitalized on oxygen... the best thing you'll get is to chat with his nurse (and likely explain to her why your magnesium and other electrolytes are important while pregnant). Even if you think I am a crazy person, if even just one of the scenarios I described is true.... you are 100% better off seeking care elsewhere.

Dr. Stacks is amazing, funny, serious when he needs to be, and very professional. He makes you feel very comfortable with what is going on and I won't go to anyone else.

Absolutely LOVE this Dr. and his staff!!

Horrible staff, horrible timings, no back up, money minded doc. Very polite tho. You would think that he is the sweetest ever till you have the worst experience. I have been going to him since a few years. But I didn't avail much of his services till I got pregnant. He was always very nice and friendly and answered all my questions. So I never had any issues with him till the end. His office people are very rude. I wanted to change the doc several times but I didn't coz I thought he is real nice. I had the worst experience when after my baby was delivered, his office was closed for 2 weeks. My baby was born very close to Christmas. His office was closed whole of Christmas and New years week. I wanted prescriptions for pain killers but I couldn't get any coz their office was closed. By the time they opened, my pain had gone. I had a lot of pain in my arms and shoulders but I had to be cleared for exercising by him because I had a c section. I asked if I could come in earlier but they denied. On my appt day, I get a call from their office that my appt has to be postponed to next week as doc is out with the flu. I asked if I could come in to see the nurse or a backup doc. He didn't have any. Then I receive a letter from him saying that they don't want to serve me as a patient and the reason given to me was he received several complaints and had to keep his employees happy. Have you ever seen a doc who would rather keep his employees happy than having patients? I know that wasn't the reason. He knew he had earned all the money possible from me as I was moving soon.I have learnt my lesson. Don't ever go to a doc who works alone. You would be stranded when you need him the most.

In the last couple of years, I've always had to call to receive my results. Ex. I would go in for my annual exam and 2-3 months later...I would never hear back from the office. This recent time I had lab work done and 2 months later no call or communication. I called to inquire about the estimated time for test results to come in and they said up to 7 days and couldn't explain why I wasn't notified. I called to speak with Dr. Stacks and that never happened. I love Dr. Stacks to death however how I'm treated/health is most important. I told myself I'm going to give them another try. I called today and the young lady answered the phone didn't even give her name and placed me on hold for 10 minutes. I called back and it was the same person, I asked her did she forget I was on hold. She said,” Aw I had someone in front of me.” I said all this to say...I’m completely DONE! Unprofessional at it's best!
