My husband and I cannot begin to express the gratitude and confidence we have in Dr. Labagnara and his staff at Semmes Murphy. He and his Nurse Lauren provided exceptional care throughout my pre surgery visits, hospitalization for surgery, and post surgery care. Dr. Labagnara was kind, confident, and reassuring throughout the entire process. I would recommend him 100 percent! He and his team have been available to answer questions, provide the best care, and make us feel valued.

I highly recommend Dr LaBagnara for spine surgery. He helped educate me about my spinal problem, also he has excellent “bedside manner” which has been important to me. Trust is a large part of going to surgery, especially for the spine. Dr LaBagnara instilled trust. He visited me in the hospital in addition to his staff checking on me. I feel like he was the right man for the job. Though it seems humorous to say, he is my hero. I had such pain before surgery for so long that my quality of life was terrible. After I woke up I was aware of discomfort from the surgery but the pain of the pinched nerves up n down my back was gone. He took each question I asked seriously and with respect. My recovery has been smooth and I am so grateful to this doctor.

Dr LaBagnara preformed an emergency multi-level anterior cervical surgery on me in May. He is a great guy and a great surgeon. I was told to expect a year long recovery process. It's only been 3 months and I can already walk without a walker or cane and I can write. All my rehab therapist have been surprised and have commented about my rapid recovery rate. I definately recommend Dr LaBagnara.

Definitely recommend Dr LaBagnara. He is very knowledgeable and professional. I see him for adult scoliosis. He will sit and explain your condition with you. I never feel rushed. He treats you like family.

Dr. LaBagnara thoroughly explained my spinal fusion procedure. He is patient and takes the time to answer all questions. I had very positive results from my surgery. I would highly recommend him.

I have been to Semmes-Murphy Clinic many times over the past 3 years. Whether it was a doctor appointment, or Physical therapy, I always found it to be highly organized, competently run, and efficient. Easy sign-in, short waiting time, fast check-out. Dr. Labagnara is an amazing neurosurgeon. Highly respected and sought-after by other physicians to deal with complicated situations of their patients. He did an outstanding surgery and fusion of my lower spine, that resolved my pain and made it possible for me to resume walking. He advised physical therapy afterwards, and encouraged me to stay positive, hopeful that strength and mobility would return to my left leg which had been severely weakened from the compression fracture of my lumbar spine. His time table for a potential return to "normal " was 6-9 months...today was my 6 month check-up, and my walking ability is about 95% back to my baseline. Feel very good with my experience.
