Interesting... My written review was deleted. Here it is in short. I really liked him at first. Seemed knowledgeable, thorough and had some good doctors(interns?) working with him. There was also a wonderful and very helpful office staff member that went above and beyond, working hard to get me in quickly when I was in pain. (I wish I could remember her name --Thank you so much!!!) Dr. Kleinman's attitude toward me became hostile when I was experiencing pain and I didn't agree with his initial assessment. Seemed to take what I said as a personal affront and a challenge of his authority rather than working cooperatively with me to help figure out what was going on. He also refused to prescribe my prophylactic migraine medication, insisting that I go see a neurologist. He and his nurse wouldn't listen when I tried to explain that I had been seeing a neurologist and we found a good preventive medication and that I just needed that medication maintained (no further need of neurological assessment or care). I had my records sent to him and his office hoping this would clear up the confusion. I don't think he read them, just acted like I was being difficult and usurping his authority and refused to help with prescribing this medication. When he wouldn't help with this, I tried to switch to another doctor in his group and he had the office manager call and leave me a curt message that "under no circumstances would any doctor in that group prescribe this preventive migraine medication for me and that I had to go see a neurologist." I don't know what this doctor's problem was with me. He came highly recommended and I had heard such great things about him from others. Unfortunately, this wasn't my experience.

This MD came highly recommended & was very thorough. At first I liked him & thought he would be good. However things fell apart when I needed migraine medication refilled. He refused and insisted I go to a neurologist. I tried to explain that I had already been to a neurologist several times that past year and found preventive medicine that worked well and just needed refills. He and his nurse I talked to on the phone never gave me an opportunity to explain this. I had the records from my neurologist sent to him thinking this would help. I don't think he even looked at this, just kept insisting I had to go to see a neurologist. Since this MD refused to help with my migraine med, I set up an appointment for a different MD in his group. A few days later I got a terse message from the office manager that under no circumstances would this new MD prescribe my migraine med. This PCP & office was disrespectful & dismissive, with behavior that bordered on bullying. I found a new MD

Very Rude, Uncaring and Inconsiderate Staff seem very uncaring and unacknowledged of insurance contract obligations and very inconvenienced in doing their jobs.

Both of my parents see Dr. Kleinman. They are 84 and 81 years old. My father is in very poor health, and Dr. Kleinman spends a lot of time with him trying to keep him comfortable...aiding in his QUALITY of life. My mom went to see him for poison ivy...she was in A-fib when she got there...HE (Dr. Kleinman) drove her to the hospital and had her admitted. He is WONDERFUL!! I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!
