I had an amazing experience at Le Bonheur today. And also the FedEx House is amazing.

My husband took my screaming 7 yr old there at 8 AM because she was in pain. They offered her tylenol and said they didnt want to put her through any tests while also saying there arent any tests for inflammationwhich was a guess because they had no idea what was wrong. I went up there and told them to take blood urine and anything else they need to figure out what is wrong. We do NOT ignore pain. She sat there crying until 430 PM when they discharged herstill in pain with no answers. They said the tests would take a few days and they would call me with results. Ive been given the run around for 2 WEEKS. No one will help with results and I was transferred at least 6 times because no one knew anything. Someone in records told me it would take an additional 2 WEEKS to get her records I did find ONE sympathetic person Nadia who told me about a patient portalwhich was NEVER mentioned in the ER. I called the patient portal number provided and received a VOICEMAIL. It already takes 48 hours to get results and there is no one there to answer the phone?? Oh but they had ZERO problem taking the co pay and billed our insurance heavily. This is NOT a childrens hospital I would recommend due to this experience. Pure incompetence.

What I would recommend Is that I understand its only two people per day all day ..But for another days when a parent or parents needs to be somewhere very important like work. I feel someone coming to switch places on a new day would be awesome. I think it needs to be changed to each day you can switch up.. just what I would recommend two visitor per day

Sat in the waiting room for 2 12 hours till we were admitted. Upon being admitted it took another 4 hours to stitch my childs head. After that it took another 2 hours for a CT. During all these actions not one staff member came to check on us or inform us of what was happening. Nice staff but there is no communication between them or patients.

Visited this location October 8 2021My daughter surgery was scheduled at this hospital. Special thanks to the staff and doctors at this hospital. My daughter’s surgery was scheduled at 8a.m. and she didn’t make it to surgery until that evening but it was still a great experience. The staff kept checking in on us and apologizing throughout the day for the delay and mentioned that there was an urgent case that her surgeon was operating on. Once the surgeon was done operating he came out personally and apologized for the delay. This hospital really caters to the children. I know a few probably had bad experiences here but sometimes you have to count your blessings. Special thanks to the nurses from the Neurology floor and Kudos to Nurse Sherine from Neurology floor. Most importantly thank you for being a blessing to many children and children hope and miracles.
