Sat in admission for 2 hrs waiting to be checked in. Letting others ahead of you. So now we are behind for procedure. Ridiculous
The change here is so terrible. Having to sit in waiting room allll day. You go in triage for over an hour waiting to do that part. They see what you need and if you are in pain or anything that doesn’t mean anything. If you have to have an iv or fluids they do that then put you in a hard wheel chair and you sit in waiting room until results. I had to have a cat scan. I got the results on my phone and waited about 4 more hours until someone told me about them. Then about 2 more hours waiting in pain in hard wheel chair for discharge papers. Also no help if you have to go to bathroom and someone to unhook iv.
The waiting time is too long.....
My Dad has been sitting in the ER for hours getting shocked by his internal defibrillator MULTIPLE TIMES and the cardiologistelectrophysiologist wont come in and do his procedure until 12p tomorrow which is over 14 hours from now. They arent changing his meds or doing anything other than let him lay in an ER bed. I understand they are busy because of covid but jeeze do something. If he doesnt make it because they dragged their feet his death will be on their hands.
Terrible it shouldn’t take 5 hours to be seen in any emergency room. Awful patient care just people not wanting to work but want to collect a paycheck
They are amazing. I’ve been here 3 times 2 out of 3 I was seen by the doctor and had my tests completed all under 2 hours even with a really busy waiting room. The staff is extremely friendly and always wishing me the best. I would come here over anywhere else every time. Even if it meant driving a distance. I trust that they care and aren’t rushing to see the next patient.
The service is bad. I called 6 times to check on my grandmother and all they could tell me was her room number. They constantly asked what patient I was calling for and kept putting me on hold. Not only that but transferring me to another person just for them to ask me the same question …. The staff is rude
Trash
On 8302021 I was admitted into Baptist Memphis Emergency Dept for chest pains and shortness of breath at 1130 pm. During my admission I sat for hours in agony and pain only to be told by NP Daniel Talmadge Snyder that there is nothing he can do and to follow up with a cardiologist in the morning. As I cried and pleaded for pain meds or further examination he simply walked out the room and discharged me at 429am. There is not one caring bone is this man’s body. No NP should handle a situation in this manner. Prior to this happening the only services that I had received while in the ER were blood test and 2 EKG. No pain meds the entire 6 hour wait. While giving blood the technician stated that a CAT Scan will be performed. That was never completed. It violates my rights to not out weigh all possibilities of chest pains. Just because the EKG and blood test are normal you should not send a patient home. Further testing should have been conducted. I am a 29 year old African American woman. I have excellent health insurance. I believe my ethnicity played a major role in Daniel Snyder’s ultimate decision to abruptly walk out the room as I cried in agony and pain. He should be placed under review by TN Board of Nurses due to violations within the Nurses Practice Act
Had to come to ER late 830pm. VERY busy but the staff called names left and right to keep things moving. The team dynamics were noticed and the Dr’s made two follows with me before actually seeing me to keep me informed of what they were planning to and even went above and beyond to get my medicine to avoid having to wait the next day for my pharmacy to open. Taylor CampbellMD was professional caring and kind. I live minutes from Saint Francis but I knew I would receive exceptional care here so driving the extra mile was well worth it Thank you so very much for all you and your team does

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
