This office does not answer the phones ever. It always goes to the exchange because they claim the office is too busy and their calls are overflowing. I tried calling 5 times. Each time, I ended up waiting up 45 minutes to talk to someone. When I get the exchange, they refuse to take a message saying the doctor's office has instructed them not to take any messages. Instead, they say that just call back later. I can't believe that they are still able to continue operating considering the lack of response. I am waiting on the doctor to sign and send in an authorization and I cannot even get in touch with him to let him know the radiology center has not received the signed authorization from him! I am so disappointed in this office and will be letting our medical group know the situation. Shame on them for treating their own patients with such disrespect.

Worst office staff ever! No sense of urgency, no communication and no follow through. They let the phone ring and ring so they can text. If you need important medication or refill, such as anti-seizure medication, you better start requesting a year in advance. Horrible!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Pathak for a few years. I have found him to be competent, caring and always helpful. He has recommended meds for me while giving me a thorough explanation of why I needed them. He always shares my lab results, explains them and even gives me a copy. Thus, I gave him a high rating.

My husband has been treated by this outstanding Neurologist for more than a decade. My Aunt and myself have sought his help for neurological conditions as well. Dr. Pathak has a manner that is straight forward. He does not waste time. He gives excellent explanations and offers help commiserate with presenting symptoms. It is the patient's job to offer symptoms in a clinical manner. A doctor can only diagnose based on symptoms offered by the patient. I would refer anyone to this kind and compassionate doctor who asked me for a top notch neurologist.

Can't find him, his office phone number is answered but when i mmentioned his name they hung up? What's going on???

The doctor is competent enough but the office is not competent. Never returns phone calls. They don't seem to care at all.

I really don't know how this guy works at the reputable St. Joseph Hospital of Orange. pathak is extremely rude and unprofessional. bedside manner is nonexistent! Do yourself a favor and go to a much better Neurologist like Dr. Noblett

If I could give this doctor literally a 0.5 star, I would. He's the biggest asshole I've ever met; if you're going to ask me for my history and symptoms of why I have migraines and neck pain, you should probably listen and not cut me off every 6 words. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to him especially if you're paying a co-pay with your insurance; wasted $25 by just being presented with a prescription for pain meds

I have never written a negative review. However, I had a very unfortunate experience with Dr. Pathak a few years ago. I had tingling and slight numbness in my feet. I am always polite with doctors and organized with my thoughts and try to be very clear. But I have to say that I have never been treated so rudely by a doctor. (Possibly he was having a very bad day). He rather point blankly told me that I would probably get "drop foot" but that I could get a foot/leg brace. I was terrified. (By the way, I still have numbness but get around just fine, 3 years later!) I think because I am older he thought he could sort of write me off as just an older, overweight woman. He acted as though he didn't care. I tried to get more clarity out of him but he just kept saying "Yes. Yes." and treated me really rudely. I was so depressed after seeing him. And I have never had to ask for a different doctor, but did in this case and ended up going with Dr. David Lombardi, who was excellent. My own GP had to pull strings to allow me to go outside the network.

If you call this neurologist office be prepared to to get the run around.I called on 10/9/17 to (TRY) to schedule an appointment.Who ever answer the phone should never ever answer the phones or work in a doctor office. If she is representing thisoffice, i can imaging what the rest of the staff including theDOCTOR is like. I'm glad i realized that before I WENT FURTHER.His workers are a direct reflection of the the doctor if they don't care, then the doctor will not care. Show some type ofcompassion when a patient call the office. You are here to help.
