I am not a person who writes lot of reviews. But the care and emotional support i received during a critical period of my pregnancy made a significant difference.So, I felt it is important that I share my experience so other expecting moms can benefit from Dr. Shah and team’s care. Just to help the readers appreciate why I say it, I approached Dr. Shah’s office during my last trimester, as it was classified as high risk pregnancy and i was not happy with the way my then OBGYN handled my case. Even at that late stage, Dr Shah magnanimously accepted to consider my case. During my first review, Dr Shah’s was methodical in her assessment. Her calmness and confidence made me feel at ease and finally I felt that I was in safe hands. And true to her promise when I first met her, she turn ed my high risk pregnancy in to a joyful journey and helped deliver a beautiful baby. Today, thanks to Dr Shah both of us are doing well. About Dr Shah, i feel she is a wonderful person. One can’t miss to see the humane and personal care in her approach to treating patients. No words will do justice to express the excellent care and treatment I received from the Doctor and her facility. She went out of her way to comfort me,and accommodate my personal situation. I do see some negative reviews regarding the wait and extra time it takes to meet the doctor,the reason I can think of,she is a doctor who is willing to go out of the way to help her patient. And is available24/7 literally for her patients. In my case due to the high risk, she provided her direct contact number and assured to help even during late night hours and on the weekend. So i feel this could have caused some delay in keeping schedules. To me and my family she is the Guardian Angel and we can never thank her enough for being my OBGYN.

Unprofessional doctor with no bedside manners and excruciating long wait time. Not worth at all.

Find another doctor, she’ll take advantage of you!

I've had two of my kids under Dr. Shah's care. She is an excellent doctor who, unlike most, gives individualized care. And so, even sometimes it is a long wait at her office, it is totally worth it. I have been seeing her for years and will continue to do so.

Waiting period is too much even though there is no rush. I think she bills insurance double less than a week she made me do urine test when there was no reason to do so as I had just come to review the blood test & Pap test & mammogram results. There is no appreciation for others time. Staff is horrible too as they see person waiting. Will be her patient anymore.

This doctor is woefully incompetent.The staff is rude disrespectful and they hold no patient care skills. The average wait time in the office is 4 hours. If you value your time, DO NOT go to this doctor. Download a movie on your phone if you go to this place the wait time is so unreasonably long. She is also very unprofessional, and her staff also books appointments at unconventional hours. The Edison office is very small and is very congested for such a small place. 0 Stars is what this establishment deserves but google showed some mercy.

She did an amazing job with my stitches, I have moved out of NJ and I wish I could go back to her for my second pregnancy. She was caring and very understanding. I would ignore all the negative reviews. She has attended quickly yet VERY ATTENTIVELY to other patients including me in front of me when one had gone into labor. She was calm an collected. I still remember her giving me a warm hug when I was getting epidural because she saw how uneasy I was feeling. I would go back to her anyday

Dr Namrata Shah is a terrible doc. I consulted her for 1 year before getting pregnant and had to face the worst experience of my life. First of all the wait time is pathetic, but I think that is common with all gynecologist. She is always in rush and is never interested in answering your questions. Even after everything was normal with me, she made me feel as if I can never conceive naturally. Her staff is very unfriendly and rude. I requested to get the copy of my medical records and they would not release it. They gave me multiple excuses to not release it and at last asked for $25 to release it. I would never recommend her to anyone. There are many other good doctors in town, never go to her.

They mess up with your insurance bills and charge for something that is not even tested and the days that you didn't even visit. Dr is just interested in making money.

I think she's worst doctor in the town she pu my life in danger by making wrong diagnosis very little knowledge,3hrs or more wait to see the doctor even after having appointment and she gives you 2,3 minutes huge insurance bills and she's only interested in making money by visit after visit and tests after test doesn't have zero interest in patients life and proper treatment she's horrible
