Dr Khan saved my husband’s life! My husband had a skull fracture and a large brain bleed and was flown to Baptist East for emergency surgery. Dr. Khan met us in the emergency room and was so reassuring that he was going to help him. At our follow up appointment, Dr. Khan was so patient and answered all of our questions. His bedside manner is outstanding. My husband is completely healed thanks to Dr. Khan.

MY TOM (THOMAS BELL) HAD A STROKE THE SUNDAY BEFORE LAST THANKSGIVING. WE WERE IN THE BAPTIST EAST HOSPITAL FOR 10 DAYS, 9 OF THEM IN ICU. DR. KHAN SAW TOM THE MINUTE WE GOT THERE AND ALMOST EVERY MORNING. HE IS STILL TAKING CARE OF HIM. DR KHAN IS OUR HERO. HE SAVED TOM'S LIFE AND CONTINUES TO DO SO AS HE STILL HAS A BLOCKAGE BUT MAINTAINED WITH MEDICINE. DR. KHAN IS THE SMARTEST, THE BEST BUT HE IS ALSO SO IN CONTROL, SO CALM. HE ALWAYS TOLD ME THE TRUTH EVEN AT THE BEGINING WHEN THINGS LOOKED BAD. DR. KHAN IS AND ANGEL SENT FROM GOD. WE WILL ALWAYS BE THANKFUL. THANK YOU.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Khan. I highly recommend him if you need a carotid endarterectomy. He takes the time to listen and responds in terms I can understand. He made me feel safe and confident that I had chosen the right Doctor to perform these surgeries. The professionals he selects, from office visit to surgery table, are of the best and deserve mentioning also. Thank you Dr Khan the best experience throughout this procedure.

I love Dr Khan!! He takes interest in you and your care. I had leg and back pain do to lumbar spondylosis. He with surgery the leg pain will be gone and it is, also he said it’s not going to completely get rid of my back pain but it will help and it did. Plus he’s eye candy!!

Dr. Khan and his team were amazing. Throughout this process they explained very thing to me and my mother clearly and made us feel like apart of the family. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they are the greatest team. Thank you so much Dr. Khan, Ms. Gerrard and the entire staff.

Just when you think that Dr. Lance Wright is the worst physician at Semmes Murphy Clinic, a neurosurgeon comes along and proves otherwise. My appointment with this doctor was incredibly terrible. First, he was ill-prepared for my visit despite having a full report of my most recent MRI. The MRI disc I provided was not loaded by staff for his review. Instead of him requesting the disc be loaded to follow along with the current report, he pulls up images from an MRI from June 2021. Of course, he blamed the nurse for not having the current available. As a nurse, I immediately identified with the "blame the nurse" game…I declare. Secondly, after skimming the thin-slice axial proton density cervical MRI report that a very experienced radiologist interpreted, he suggested I see a psychiatrist. What!? Should the radiologist see a psychiatrist? My surgical evaluation request was based on his findings. I screamed in my head, "You're holding his report, not mine! Just because you don't understand it doesn't make it a lie." Clearly, this was an area of diagnostics this doctor was unfamiliar with by his bewildered response to the many details within the report. Why do physicians label patients with anxiety or the like when they should just admit to not being familiar with what's at hand? I am not anxious or overreaching; nor am I on painkillers or anxiety meds. I advocate for myself and not-so-common condition. Unfortunately, physicians like Dr. Khan are unaware of cervical instability and how it is proven. This was such a terrible experience, wrapped in too many misunderstandings at his lead. Get it together, physicians, and think outside of your bubble, outside of labeling patients anxious, and outside of your area of expertise. Finally, it must be mentioned that I did not need him to explain anything to my Caucasian friend. She is a very good friend who was very interested in what could be done based on my MRI results. She was not there to increase my comprehension; I have more degrees than her. She and I left in disbelief of that awful exchange.

Dr Khan and his team did the magical job for my son ( spinal fusion ). I really appreciate his kindness and talent. He is the best.
