Dr. Nickele and the Semmes Murphy staff was amazing since day 1 of stepping into the clinic to having to have surgery on my disc and after care. Dr. Nickele's clinic staff was helpful, moved quickly to care for me. The surgery center at Semmes Murphy is like no other. The facility is nice, clean, the staff was amazing to me prior, prep and after surgery along with treating my husband to the utmost respect and care! If you are looking for a dr/surgeon with care, ethics, great bedside morals and not just out for your money then I HIGHLY recommend going to Dr. Nickele... you will NOT be disappointed I promise!

I had to have an urgent back surgery the day after Christmas of 2018 and I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Nickele as my surgeon. His skills as a surgeon are met by his fantastic bedside manner! I can not say thanks enough!

A year ago today, I met Dr. Christopher Nickele. A large, golf-ball size meningioma tumor introduced us. God used Dr. Nickele to miraculously remove my tumor and now I am good as new!Arrogance is what comes to my mind when I think about neurosurgeons. Not so with Dr. Nickele. He was kind and patient, tolerating many questions, calls, and request for conference meetings from my family and friends, of whom many are physicians and medical professionals.After my surgery, I developed mrsa meningitis while still in the hospital. As a result, Dr. Nickele recommended some additional surgeries. Noticing that he wore a cross, my daughter asked him if he had prayed about this recommendation. He admitted that he had not. When I called later that day to let him know my decision, I was surprised when he told me that he had subsequently prayed and deliberated with God and that he no longer thought that his recommendation was the best course of treatment.Dr. Christoper Nickele is a gifted surgeon and very wise for his age. He understands that there is someone, my God, who knows more than he.I highly recommend him without any reservations.

I would highly recommend Dr. Nickele to anyone needing a neurosurgeon. Not only is he an excellent surgeon, his bedside manner is outstanding . He's so down to earth. His nurse, Heather, is also delightful!

I have been a patient of Dr. Nickele for over a year now. He and his team are very professional, respond quickly to any questions I may have, and it’s been made obvious they genuinely care about me as a person, not only a patient. Dr. Nickele recently performed surgery to place a shunt for my pseudotumor cerebri. After battling daily headaches and vision issues, I no longer have any issues thanks to Dr. Nickele. I would recommend Dr. Nickele to anyone and everyone in need of a neurosurgeon.

Dr Nickele saved my life by removing a blood clot from my brain that had stopped blood flowing into my brain. Because of his quick response he saved my life and my ability to walk and talk again.
