Paul Park's Online Review Report Card

Dr Park knew immediately what to do to alleviate my radiating back pain. He was my second opinion, after a different neurosurgeon recommended extensive fusing, placing a plate and screws. He said I was too young for all that. Lol. He simply removed a cyst and did a laminectomy and my sciatic pain was gone! He’s a very conservative and caring physician and I would travel to Memphis now (he was at U of M) before I would trust anyone else!

Ignores patient, doesn't read reports or scans correctly, tries to sell you some clinic where they hook you on pain meds and scrape up your nerves. Why would U of M, a fine hospital, have such a scumbag in their ranks?

Claims to do minimally invasive surgery could not further from the truth huge incision that got infected with tear in my dura with no follow up care. I am ruined for life

I had an eight level fusion, rods, and pedicle subtraction osteotomy July 24, 2019. Ten hour surgery, 4 blood transfusions, and a hell of a recovery. Dr. Park is a miracle worker!!!!!!!

I met Dr Park in his clinic along with my wife. I had exhausted most of my other options prior to deciding to meet with the surgeon. During that face to face with Dr Park, I was confident that my decision to have back surgery would be the best decision to get me back on my feet. He listened well as I discussed my chief complaints and he thoroughly explained my procedure, called a discectomy. Upon completing our meeting a day later I had gotten a message in my portal that my surgery was scheduled and pre op instructions were also included. Dr Park and the entire surgery department were very professional and courteous. Kudos to the entire Michigan Medicine Neurosurgery Department.

Dr. Paul Park completed my surgery at the end of May 2019. I had a three level fusion C4-7 with a Corpectomy on C5. My experience and treatment with this Gifted Surgeon and his staff was excellent. Dr Park explained the procedure and answered all my questions in a way that was polite and very informative. He was also there after the surgery checking on my condition. Nancy, his NP is outstanding in her knowledge and friendliness in communicating before and after surgery. Five months Post Op and I am pain free. Good job Dr, I am grateful to have you and your staff as my medical provider.

Dr. Park changed my life. After breaking my T6 in a freak accident, the scans showed I had a spinal hemangioma. The neurosurgeons in my area weren't equipped to help me and the hemangioma was causing my fracture to worsen. Dr. Park resected the hemangioma, caged my T6 and fused my T3-T8 that were weakened from the tumor. I am five months post-surgery and am primarily pain-free. I know I have longer to heal but was able to return to work three months post-surgery. Dr. Park is serious about his work and I am so grateful that he was able to help me. I would recommend him to everyone.

4 hours on the road each way and in pain was a total waste! His arrogance was disheartening. Didn't believe my pain and made no attempt to help.

My husband had extensive surgery from Dr. Paul Park. I can not say enough about him and the excellent care we were given. All our questions were answered, he saw my husband close to everyday, his team was in everyday. They did their best to keep his pain under control. I can’t say enough about Dr Park, his team, Np Nancy and the rest of the staff at U of M. They get 5 stars. Thank you

I had ACDF surgery 2 weeks ago with Dr. Park. Dr. Park and his team were beyond excellent! He provided phenomenal care. Would definitely recommend Dr. Park!
