List of Pervis Milnor's Reviews
Wife is a witch!!!Karma gets us all in the long run.
A doctor who actually cares .............................................................................
There are not enough good words I can use to decribe Dr. Milnor. My very first visit I knew he would try his best to help me with my pain. He has helped me so I could function doing everyday things people may take for granted. I may not be able to work everyday because of my pain. But I am able to function at home with my family.
Best Dr I have ever. He got me back to life. I was a depressed bi polar chronic back pain mess until i met Dr Milnor on my first visit. I was in tears and he gave me a hug and told me that he was going to help me and I felt relief for the first time in 20 years.. I had back surgery in 2010 that should have been done in 2000 so i had a lot of damage. the surgery did work for the most part but i was left with chronic debilitating pain at 30 years old.. and a 30 year old male with a small son and wife working 2 jobs cant stop for pain. my quality of life was 0. he turned my life around 100% percent. i stopped self medicating with alcohol and anything i could get my hands on to relief the pain. all i had to do is be honest and follow his orders.. he caught serveral other issues i didn't know i had by consistency with lab work and he always gave me reading material for self help or relationship help or father son relationships. if he thought you did not follow orders now he would get pissed no doubt. thats because he cared he loves his patients and he is a highly intelligent man. he has to deal with some trash and career doppers so take in consideration on some of the negative post because i dont believe he didnt give you every opportunity to help yourself because he is not that way..
Sorry piece of waste, expect a 3-6 hour wait, rude arrogant a real prick, office staff are incopetent, advoid this fat SOB at all cost!!!!!!
Dr. Milnor is a great Dr. that provides relief to many patients. Unfortunately the laws and regulations have pressured Drs. like him to run a very strict business to stay in practice. I'm sure he has investigations pending due to patients that did not follow his guidelines. If you pay out of pocket it cost a lot. Again, he has to have attorneys working to deal with the backfire of patients that do not follow his instructions. If you are willing to work with him, you will be relieved but there is nothing easy about working with Dr. Milnor. CPP have no choice in this system that causes more suffrage than help.
Mean! Rude! Unprofessional! All the nice people in the office have left or died. I used to think he cared until he said he did not. Will not let you speak to him. Why do I go there. I dont know what else to do. He apparently is friendly and caters to the rich. He loves the drug reps and will spend the day with them and let you wait but unless he gives those samples to the rich friends I cannot figure it out. If a needy person such as I asks for a sample we are told he will sell us one. He just gets meaner and meaner. He has a spy cam in his office now so he can watch patients in the waiting room and he and his staff have no problem discussing them in front of you while it is your appointment time. My biggest fear is he does not remember anything and will call you a liar if you try and correct him. I would not recommend to a new patient and god help you if he thinks you are a democrat. He will tell you how stupid you are. I am not but have been accused. Haha
The only reason some people are praising Doc Milnor is because he feeds their addiction with no intentions of getting them off powerful narcotics. Doctor Milnorprescribes more narcotics then any other doctor in the state of Tenn. He has been under and is under investigation today. His wife is rude and very unprofessional. If you do not have cash money you will not get the medications that Doc Milnor has gotten you addicted to. Trust me, if you ever run into a financial rough patch that office will turn their back on you. At one point I was asked to get 500 dollars a month filled of prescriptions, plus still pay over 200 for sit down visits and 75 for pick ups. So those who think Doc Milnor not making money, you are delusional. I seen doc milnor for 10 years . Paid thousands of dollars to him. Not until my mother became ill and I was in a financial bind for a year, did they turn their back on me. His wife on my last visit was rude and unprofessional. She spoke to me like I was trash, knowing I had a 8 hour drive back to my dying mother. I have been contacted by a group investigating doc milnor and his practice. I have chose to stay out of that mess, but when I went in violent with drawls from 80 mil of methedone and 90 mil of percoset he prescribed me to take daily, to then just turn his back on me with no regard for my health, I feel like I should tell my story. It was not until I got with another doc did I realize I was being turned into a drug addict by a doc only concerned with getting paid. I really liked doc milnor when it was getting close to being out of my drugs. Loved him when he handed me the scripts. All I did was trust my doc and do as I was told. That will never happen again. And he over books, has nothing to do with long appointments. He could schedule less if it was a time issue. I believe his wife will be his down fall. She takes liberties as a nurse, and treats people horribly. Think its time for her to get a reality check. She is not a nurse, and can't just treat people like trash because her husband has turned them into drug addicts. If you are one of his patients, you may wanna look for new doc. Not sure he will be practising to much longer.
Dr. Milnor is a very caring doctor that likes to spend time with his patients to help them with their pain and pain management. With that said you will normally have to wait a couple of hours past your scheduled appointment time, but he is worth the wait. The staff is very friendly and can help you not wait as long if you give them a call ahead of time to see how far he is running behind.
Only doctor I have EVER been to that actually researched my rare condition, and has treated my pain appropriately. I use to be hospitalized 3-4 times a year for 2 weeks at a time. Since being treated by Dr. Milnor, I haven't been to the hospital once. He listens and talks or me for as long as I need. This is unheard of nowadays. Dr. Milnor is like a second father to me! If you are a pain pill seeker this is not the doctor for you. He his not afraid to use them, but truly researches his patients history, tests, and current medical findings/tests of his own before prescribing anything! He treats the whole person, not just your pain. Unfortunately, he has a very long wait list to see him. I know he wishes he could help everyone. I do not know where I would be without him. Dr. Milnor has given me my life back! I cannot think of a better treatment outcome than this. I absolutely adore this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
