List of Ramesh C Gupta's Reviews
Staff is great. He answered my questions and explained. He’s the first rheumatologist in 20+ years who took the time to listen to what was going on and explained what was causing my complaints. He explained what he was prescribing and why.
I have been a patient for over 15 years. I'm beyond frustrated with this Doctor. He doesn't explain your conditions, reason things happened, no good bedside manner. Office cluttered for xray. My RA has spreader to my shoulder, neck and causes extreme pain. I don't know how severe, what will happen next or anything.
He only ever seemed concerned about getting me into a study. He didn't listen to me. When I asked him about doing x-rays (since it is supposed to be part of the diagnostic process for my disease) he asked where I wanted him to x-ray because he didn't see it necessary. When he finally did them, he told me the x-rays showed fusion that I don't have (was confirmed later with an MRI from a new dr). When I told him the meds were causing extreme nausea, he wanted to give me PPI. Even with my chart in hand, he didn't see that I was already on one. His focus wasn't on what was best for me, it was only on finding a way to get me in a study. When I decided to change drs, I could even get copies of my records, no one would call me back. Would not recommend at all.
Awesome RA doctor fast service
He continouslly tried from the first visit to get me into a trial. Every visit pushed it instead of talking over my symptoms. On the fourth visit when I refused the trial completely he then started charging for my visits when in fact my insurance company was covering my visits. His office stated they no longer took my insurance but when I called my insurance they indeed took my insurance. He refused to see me again until the bill was paid that he was charging.
I had an awful experience here. Do not waste your money. It was filthy! He didn't listen to me whatsoever about my symptoms and wanted to just cover up them with a steroid. It was an absolute waste of time and money. Find another doctor!!!
Second visit today. I can’t recommend enough! He’s highly educated, and trained most rheumatologists in this area. He’s constantly doing clinical trials. Office staff is wonderful
Very unprofessional prejudice Dr.He tries to make his patients belittled by him.He doesn’t care about your health needs and had the nerves to say I can find another Dr.
Dr. Gupta is, by far, the best rheumatologist you will ever find. His diagnostic skills have saved many people (like myself) from years of torment when no one else could help. Ignore the negative reviews if you want the best medical care from the best mind in the practice of rheumatology.
Wait time was long and when I was placed in a room, It was more like a storage closet with boxes and files. My husband accompanied me and was told by nurse he would have to stand because the extra seat in the room belong to Dr. Gupta and he doesn’t like anyone sitting in his chair. When he finally arrived, he didn’t greet us. Due to the room being small, my husband had to stand in the hallway, which I’m assuming made Dr. Gupta think several people were in the room. His first words were, “How many people in the room?” This was my first visit and quite naturally I was nervous. He was extremely short, seemed disconnected and took a personal phone call in the middle of my appointment and didn’t even apologize afterwards. He gave me my diagnosis but did not tell me what it meant or what to expect. He actually told me I just have to accept it and treat it. I do not plan on him being my specialist long term.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
