Good visit, great doc! Dr. Davis was very thorough and answered our (many) questions. He explained the problem in detail and was very forthcoming with more info which he printed out for us when we left. Thx so much!
Dr. Davis is a very caring, warm, personable and extremely excellent professional. He performed a procedure on my hip with the least amount of stress and pain imaginable under the circumstances. I would heartily recommend him without reservation to anyone in need of the professional services that he provides. I am also a retired doctor, perhaps one of the most critical patient types there are... and I give Dr. Davis a 10+ on a scale of 1 to 10.
Sad passing. Dr. Davis helped me so much in 2006/2007 with a tennis elbow. Great physician. He is missed.
Dr. Davis helped me so much in June of 2014. Dr. Davis diagnosed a herniated disc which was confirmed with an MRI. I had gone to 2 previous Drs. who weren't sure what my back problem was. What was great about Dr.Davis was he tried an easier, less expensive & less intensive form of a cure for helping me and it worked! No need for spine injections at all! I recently googled him up to get his phone number to make an apt. for him to look at my right elbow, and I was totally shocked to read he had passed away from pancreatic cancer. This form of cancer is one of the worst as there are no real symptoms until it's too late, and there is no cure. He was one of the best doctors I had ever gone too. I'm so sorry for his family.
I found Dr. Davis on Yelp after having a terrible experience at an orthopedist recommended by my primary care physician. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Davis. He is conservative in his treatment and works hard to ensure his patients know what their limitations are and what they need to do to get better. I have never waited more than 10 minutes in the reception area and I have found his staff to be kind and helpful. They also accept my PPO insurance which is a huge bonus. One more thing... my mother (who has been coming to all my appointments) even likes Dr. Davis and she never likes Doctors so that says a ton!
Dr. Davis is the best doctor I have ever been to. I have been seeing him now for over eight years, and he has amazing. So, so, so smart and always has been correct in diagnosing me. He is friendly and has a terrific bed side manner. I love Pat, his administrative assistant. She always will work with you to get you a convenient appointment. Dr. Davis and his staff are THE BEST!!!
Dr. Davis is my go to guy when it comes to orthopedic referrals. I have been sending patient's to him for nearly 20 years. He is incredibly knowledgable compassionate and responsive. For "Dr. Randy" surgery is not the first option. Being in conservative medicine, I appreciate that. The surgeries he has had to do on my patients have yielded excellent outcomes. There are a ton of orthos out there. My patients trust in me to make the best referral I can for them. Their experience with him is a reflection on my choices as a doctor. I know they will get the kind of care I would give them from Dr. Davis.
Thanks to my exuberant approach to life, I've been in Dr Davis's care a number of times over the past 7 - 8 years. From torn menisci(?) in both knees to an ankle fracture and a few sprains, Dr Davis has been my go-to orthopedic expert. When I had my second meniscus tear this past Spring, I was dreading the costs associated with an MRI scan and potential surgery. Dr. Davis sagely recommended a wait and see approach rather than summarily prescribing an MRI and getting me on the the OR schedule. He took the same approach with my wife when she injured here knee. I implicitly trust Dr Davis diagnoses and advice and I appreciate his wry, no-nonsense bedside manner.
Dr. Davis is fantastic. He worked with me for several months, trying every possible approach to fix my knee before having to resort to surgery. Once it came time for that inevitability, he walked me through the two plans that he had depending on what he found once he got into my joint and saw what he was really working with (MRIs and radiographs can only tell you so much). After the surgery was done, he gave me additional options (the surgery revealed that I needed a much more extensive procedure), including recommending that I find a surgeon who is specialized in partial knee replacements. I think that's the epitome of a doctor who truly wants the best for his patients; he recognized that that procedure is not his forte, and he suggested some other doctors for me to look into. Dr. Davis was always very friendly, very honest, and definitely listened to me and worked with me to figure out what to do with my bum knee. The office staff at LASM is not the friendliest, but really, they're not the ones I pay to see and interact with. Dr. Davis is the one whose expertise, bedside manner, and ability to work with his patients is who you are signing up to get service from. You have to feel comfortable with the person who's going to cut you open, and that's Dr. Davis!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
