List of Raza Ur-Rehman Hashmi's Reviews
Terrible experience! I was charged twice as much as I should have been and treated very poorly by Dr. Hashmi. Warning; only go there if you have rheumatoid arthritis. They do a lot of tests, but they don't know how to diagnose a condition that's rare. I know my body and I knew I had an autoimmune disease, but Dr. Hashmi basically scolded me saying I didn't. I now have a definite diagnosis from a different Dr and now getting the much needed help I've been needing for several years.
The office is terrible with communication. I have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis most days it's hard to get out of bed. So to get dressed and get to the office just to be told you can't be seen because of a balance that is due! I just paid my bill on Sunday. I get to the front desk staff and they say you might have to reschedule Dr. Hashmi says don't look like your bill is going down enough. You can tell nowadays Dr. wants money over people's health that's what that feels like every time I go and get turned away. This is the second time they have let me come to this office just to get me in front of them and turn me away because I didn't pay enough! This is inhuman to treat people like this when they are dealing with a sickness. What happened to the doctor's office that call you and remind you of the appointment and at that time inform them of what they would have to pay in order to be seen. It is insane to say the less. feeling so disrespected!
Dr Hashmi is treating my husband for a rare autoimmune disease. Dr Hashmi is curious to know what knowledge you have of the disease and then throughly explains the disease and treatment. He encourages questions. He seems truly concerned about the patient. He is very punctual, which is rare in the medical field. I would highly recommend Dr Hashmi.
My first time going to Dr.Hasmi and he was absolutely wonderful. I feel like he's one of the first doctors to take me seriously. I'm happy to be in his care.
First call I received to make an appointment, the lady was rude and forced me to pay double my copay price BEFORE she would give me an appointment. NP was uninterested and dismissive, doctor barely looked at me. So glad I didn't need anything more than testing. Wanted to give 0 stars but it won't post the review with at least 1.
I really enjoyed talking with Dr Hashmi! He was very polite and such a positive attitude!
My husband called for an appointment after being referred by his primary care physician. He was asked to pay a $50 fee to make an appointment. Then he was sent papers to fill out by email. After reading about some of the fees Dr. Hashmi charges over and above our insurance coverage (Medicare & Medigap), my husband decided to cancel his appointment with no refund of the $50 fee. He feels that with all the extra fees that will be charged and not filed with insurance, we could not afford the extra expense. He also feels that not refunding the $50 fee was very unprofessional.
Doc percribed me meds that made my symptoms worse, advised me to stop, then tried to prescribe even riskier drugs. Im not a doctor but do your own research...
January 27, 2021 I was a new patient at Dr. Hashmi’s office. I was treated with dignity and respect and his professionalism was outstanding. He has a wonderful personality and bedside manner, as well as his office staff. He has diagnosed me with moderate to severe RA, Ran all the appropriate test immediately and is putting me on a path so I can begin to feel better. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Raza Hashmi to anyone that needed his service
Literally the worse doctor ever.... poor bedside manner and you can not ask questions about your own health. If so he refuses to see you. Then he sent his nurse practitioner in ... who ultimately had whatever impression of what he told her about me and didn’t make my experience any better. When a patient is dealing with a lupus diagnosis and what to understand what’s happening to them, you should be able to discuss with your physician and ask questions. He is clearly threatened by questions. I was never mean or nasty with him and to be treated poorly my your physician is sad. I hope he learns to take a different approach moving forward.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
