terrible!
I had a kidney stone that was confirmed via ultrasound, and followed up with a CT scan to rule out an angiomyolipoma. The CT scan reported no stones. I was referred to this doctor to get some reassurance and further testing, since I was continuing to experience pain. This doctor completely dismissed the ultrasound, saying the tech likely didn't know what she was doing. While explaining why I thought I needed further testing, I insecurely said that maybe I was just being paranoid, to which he quickly replied, "You are. You are being paranoid." He eventually took me out to a hallway to show me my CT scan, where just anyone could see it. While reviewing it to convince me nothing was wrong, he found a kidney stone. Blamed the CT people for not reporting it, even though he obviously could have reviewed it himself. This doctor is extremely dismissive if not insulting, and acted like I was incapable of understanding my own body. Please find someone else if you want actual help.
Have seen for years. Great knowledge of subject. Even caught an imbalance of brain chemical that was causing me severe issues. Changed my life.
He gave my husband a clean bill of health. Told us there was nothing to be concerned about. Dismissed the warning signs, symptoms and labwork. Turns out my husband does have cancer and we have wasted over a year believing he was healthy.
He was condescending. I always felt like he was ready to leave the room as soon as he walked in and often found myself asking questions as he was walking me out of the exam room. I didn’t feel heard, respected, or valued in my interactions with him.
Dr. Donato has seen both my husband and myself. We both find him knowledgeable and friendly. His office staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
I thought Dr. Donato was very personable. I felt like he took very good care of me. He preformed laser surgery on my prostate which totally fixed my problem and I didn't have any problems with it. If any, my only complaint was that we waited so long to do the surgery but my guess is that was an insurance issue more than anything. I give him two thumbs up.
I dislike to make this comment but it is important to share it with others. i found him to be rude and hurried, not only to his patients but also to nurses and other doctors. One of the doctors commented that he has short temper and frustrated to others. he may not realize this and needs to go for an angry management class. He has been blessed with high education and respected profession. he should not take that for granted.
Dr. Donato has absolutely no regard for his patients or their well being. He is arrogant and condescending when asked questions and acts as if he is too important to waste his time with you. Dr. Donato not only insulted my wife twice but also insulted me and demanded that we leave the office as we were a difficult case. I am a 73 year old man with multiple health issues and he seemed to derive great pleasure from attempting to humiliate both of us. Avoid this practice at all costs.
Thank you nurse Kelly for cancelling my renewable prescriptions at Sam's Club so I can be stressed out again without my needed medicine. You were very slow to fill my prescriptions a few months ago and that was a problem for me as I was completely out. A complete unprofessional disappointment again. What ever happened to compassion?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
