Robert G Chandler's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Chandler is very kind and the cancer group I used uses him for reconstruction. He did a very nice job on my radiated mastectomy side, but my real side (I was a single mastectomy) was operated on twice by him and I was completely asymmetrical. I ended up getting 4 second opinions (out of state), and ended up using another doctor for my revision (which turned out great). I ended up with 3 breast lifts on my real side in a 16 month period, and I just feel like a better job could have been done, initially, on my real side.

I've been a patient of Dr Chandler's for a long time I just recently had surgery if you're looking for a good caring concerned doctor he's the person very nice sweet person who cares about his patients his nurse is very nice also they take time and listen to whatever concerns or problems that you're having .

Great doctor and staff is always friendly and his nurses are always very caring and professional. I am very thankful to have them in my life after going through breast cancer twice. Thanks for your support and I am very thankful for everything you all have done for me.

Dr. Chandler was my plastic surgeon at Baptist. I had a gigantic abdominal wound from surgery. He was SO kind, gentle and understanding. He was my favorite doctor, and I had alot, at this hospital stay.

Dr Chandler was very compassionate and understanding. He is aware of BII and ask me questions as to how I felt after surgery. Soft spoken and interested in what your concerns are. I would recommend him to everyone!

I loved my cancer group so I trusted them when they said Dr Chandler would do a great job on my reconstruction. I believe he has done great work in the past but something has happened. He operated on me 3 times. He didn't do what I asked, he took no after photos, he didn't give me information about what he was going to do. My breasts do not look even close to normal. There were no issues that would cause my surgeries to be more difficult. I just wanted them to be smaller and look somewhat similar. The breast that was removed is square, flat and at least 1 size larger than my other breast. It is so uncomfortable I can't sleep on that side. I am having to have P.T. to try to get the muscles not so tight and painful. The one that was lifted and made smaller is now flat in front and big under my arm. I can't wear any bra but a stretch exercise bra. The regular bras just crinkle up, the breast are so flat and odd shaped. This has been more upsetting than having my breast removed. I knew that would look bad. But I fully expected the reconstruction to look fine and go smoothly. At least that is what I was told would happen. I just wanted to look normal for my age. I hate to say bad things about anyone but I just want people to check out their options and be aware if you chose to use him.

Dr. Chandler is just an excellent professional- both as a surgeon (perfectionist) and as a doctor (treating and interacting with patients). I am undergoing reconstruction for breast cancer right now, and he and Sam are the best. Highly, highly recommend his practice. Thank you, Dr. Chandler and staff! You are making this journey so much more hopeful for me. :-)

Absolutely one of the best doctors in Memphis. He is renowned in his field and treats all his patients with genuine kindness and care.

Staff is always friendly, his nurse Sam, is one of the BEST nurses! They are always listening & answering all of our questions! I did have complications from my reconstruction surgery, they were only a phone call away! They even checked on me! Would highly recommend them!
