I have been going to Dr Wake for over five yars. He gives understanable explanations of treatments, and provides careful and comprehensive care.He was recommended to me by a physician who also goes to Dr Wake.

The doctor might be good, but I’ll never know because his office staff was totally incompetent. After confirming with my referring Dr. that they had faxed the documents I was told to provide, I didn’t hear back from Wake’s office for two days. I called them and was told they would call me in “about two weeks” to set up an appointment..... not to SEE the Dr......... but to set up an appointment! Seriously?! Why didn’t they tell me that upfront when I first called? Why did it take me calling them back to find out that they employed a scheduling process that I’ve never encountered in my 60 plus years on earth? Two weeks to schedule an appointment is utterly ridiculous! There was no way I was relying on them to follow up, so I saw a different Dr. Just for grins, I called Wake’s office back four weeks later to follow up (I hadn’t heard anything from them)....they said they couldn’t find my paper work....classic! This was truly a new low in customer service!

Dr Wake is top notch and a first rate Urologist. He takes all the time you need to explain your condition and walks you through all the specific details of your condition or procedure and prognosis. Dr. Wake has been my husband’s urologist and surgeon for many years as well as the urologist for several of our friends. We have found him highly knowledgeable, informative, and personable so much so that when I needed a urologist myself, I chose him also. His office manager Trish is equally efficient and approachable

My daughter visited him for another opinion. She has been to several doctors and he sternly told my daughter that she was jumping doctors and that her symptoms were all in her head. What doctor says this? She isn't jumping doctors. She's trying to find answers to her bladder problem. No one likes going to lots of doctors. He was rude and inconsiderate of her condition. Terrible bedside manner.

Very talented physician/surgeon. Takes time to relate his reasons for treating/techniques, outcomes and risks. Personable considering his total responsibilities: takes time with me explaining his findings and answering any concerns. His scheduling department for appointments is very good. He personal assistance, Trish, is very efficient and personable as well

If you can get past his appt scheduler to get in good luck. Friend told me he had heard this was a good doc but could never get an appt. I tried several times and ran into the same prob with the person scheduling his appts.
