List of Sheila Thomas's Reviews
I did
I love Dr. Thomas. She was my PCP for over 22 years. I followed her from location to location and refused to see any other doctor at the office. She listens to her patients concerns and will give you a stern loving reprimand (lol) if you are not following her recommendations. My company changed insurance so I am not able to see her now. If I could afford it, I would pay out of pocket just to have my doctor back.
I *love* Dr. Thomas. She has been my PCP for almost 27 years. The most exciting thing about moving back to the area was that I got my favorite Doctor back. You may notice that many of her patients are older, that's because like me they have followed her from location to location. Often refuse to see any other doctor at the office. She listens to all concerns, remembers things from 20 years ago that I don't remember. She understands phobias, and also believes that you know your own body.
I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas since February 1991. I was then pregnant and was referred to this teaching clinic by a friend. Dr. Thomas was just 6 months into her intern year. Because she was a family medicine doctor, I was able to not only go for my care, but also for the care of my children. I know I'm not the only patient that refuses to see any other doctor, and prefer to see her, unless something requires a specialty. Because she sees you for nearly all your care, she sees the whole picture. She also works with you to find a solution. I've often researched my symptoms before myg cost, and she will ask what I want to do about the problem if I'm right, she also tells me why I'm wrong or why it won't work. She always looks up containdications for a medication that is being considered. She doesn't want to give you something that is going to aggravate asthma or epilepsy you have.
Dr. Thomas is the best Doctor.
I love Dr. Thomas. She has been my physician since I was a teenager!
I would definitely recommend Dr Thomas.
Arrived 30 early to appt first visit did not have my insurance card on hand had to verify my own info only to be told that Dr Thomas is leaving early and is not seeing any late appts after I was early. The receptionist was very rude nonchalant and told me that I would have to wait 2 hours 30 mins to see another doctor for an appt. VERY, VERY, unprofessional. I wouldn't even go back there to get my shoes repaired.
Has no idea what she is doing. Lots of talking and very little listening. Makes promises, then takes different actions. She shares an office with the worst admin staff. Her marketing service sends you a notice to make an appointment weekly. When you do need an appointment, it is a major crisis for her schedulers to accommodate you if you need something in the next 30 days, and make you feel like your the one not being accommodating. Can not be trusted, and I would never recommend her.
I like the doctor and nurse. I don't like the front office assistant Jessica. She is very short, impatient and rude in mannerisms. Actually curt would be a good description. A call to the office can cost you 20 minutes or more while your call is constantly replaced in the que. I really think that they use a employee with a better demeanor dealing with patients on the front end etc.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
