I have been blessed to have Dr. Nelson as my physician for many years. She is kind, considerate and always had my best interests at heart. She is thorough in her examination and makes recommendations that are sensible, realistic, and has helped me deal with whatever concerns I have had. I am almost 75 y/o & she helped me over many milestones. She doesn’t rely on her opinion alone and has recommended me to specialists at times when I needed help beyond her expertise. I highly recommend her!

I don't think you need a medical degree to know that not all of a patient's problems can be corrected by a healthy diet and exercise. Especially when there is a family history of mental illness and substance abuse. I especially don't think that this is true for an adolescent who is already showing signs of mental illness, abusing substances, and contracting STDs. Healthy diet and exercise will not fix all of that.
