Dr Patel's office puts the patient first! Appointments are available when needed and schedulers Dee and Gabby are friendly and efficient. The office runs like clockwork. Assistant Maritza measures blood pressure with a manual cuff instead of an automatic machine to ensure an accurate blood pressure reading .Nurse practitioner Ajkawe is through, knowledgeable and listens attentively to patient concerns. Dr Patel steers the ship with his outstanding professionalism and dedication to his patients. I am really happy to be a patient in this superb practice and commend the high quality of patient care.Ruth Rosen MD
I love Dr Patel and the nurse practitioner, Ameachi Ajakwe who I saw 3 months ago. They are both very calm and reassuring
I have been having headaches so Dr. suggested a brain scan. I got one on Thursday April 21. I heard nothing on Friday or Monday so I emailed Dr to ask if there were any results. No response. Called on Tuesday, asked to speak to the doctor. No response. Called on Wednesday, asked to speak to him again. Instead a nurse or assistant calls me several hours later and tells me "everything's fine but your MRI is abnormal." First of all how can those two things exist together? Second of all why did I have to call them to get this information and why isn't the doctor calling me himself? This seems like a pretty big deal. I asked for the doctor to call me for clarification and was told no you just need to see a neurologist. I said I really wanted him to call me and they said OK. He never called. I made an appointment for a month and a half away for a neurologist, the earliest appointment I could get. I called the doctors office back because I didn't want to wait that long to hear why my brain MRI was abnormal. Again I did not get a call back. It's now Friday 11 o'clock at night and he has never called me. Completely unprofessional, unkind, and uncalled for. When a patient is concerned about a brain scan being abnormal the doctor should call and clarify. If he's so busy that he can't call me he needs to cut back on his patient load. I am disgusted by the attitude of this doctor. I would not recommend him under any circumstances.
After being released from the hospital earlier this year, I absolutely needed a primary care doctor. Dr. Patel came highly regarded by other moms in the Burbank community so I decided to give their office a call. I have been very happy with him and his expertise. The office staff always calls you back if you leave a message and they try to fit you in if they are booked. I've also seen the nurse practitioner via telehealth and I liked her very much. I'm looking forward to scheduling a wellness visit this upcoming year. The only gripe I have, and this has nothing to do with his office, is that the parking for this building absolutely sucks. The people that run the parking garage are absolutely rude. You're better off parking across the street or finding street parking. Don't bother with leaving your car there. Always a 5 star review for Dr. Patel though. He's top notch.
Came in for my wellness exam and I'm waiting in the waiting room nervously! I've been seeing Dr Patel for 3 years and he's a great doc aka GP. He's cautious yet calming and he knows how to stay on top of any health concerns. He's cute too!!
Dr. Patel always knows my medical history before he comes in the exam room. He also has a very good memory. Dr. Patel consistently spends ample time with me and explains everything clearly and in detail. His personality is perfect! He also is exceptionally good about checking on his patients.
I found Dr.Patel after being in the hospital for 12 days under his care. I have been going to him ever since and it's already been 6 years! He is by far, the best doctor I've had. I absolutely trust his expertise and value his advice. I never feel rushed in his office and most importantly, I always feel heard. Dr.Patel takes the time to have a frank and honest conversation about whatever you are dealing with. If I ever leave the town of Burbank, I will be the most upset with losing him as my primary. Highly recommend!
Smart guy with a great attitude. I always feel confident after seeing this guy for whatever my body decides to throw at me. He is really caring and attentive, just overall easy to talk to. His staff is also extremely efficient and friendly. So happy I changed my internist.
First time seeing Dr Patel today and I am so thankful I found him. He listens and doesn't make you feel rushed and his staff are top notch. Looking forward to a long relationship with him and I will be referring my husband to him as well.
I've been seeing Dr. Patel for a couple years now. Calling over the phone and getting an appointment can lag a bit but the staff is pleasant in person. During COVID they seem to be very well organized and efficient. I called on Monday and got an appointment for the next morning. I was in and out within 30 minutes after a brief but friendly exchange with the doctor. The nurse (Maritza) was very pleasant too. I got my prescription and even a sample med. My one gripe is that you have to pay for parking in the building. There's no validation. I paid $3 for a half hour visit.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
