Dr. Towne is one of the most expert and caring gastroenterologists around. He is that rare physician who actually listens to you before he examines you, gives you his opinion, and outlines the best plan for you. I was terrified to get a colonoscopy, and put it off for years because a doctor told me years ago that my petite size and an anatomical defect would make it difficult. I feared perforation. Dr. Towne advised me that although this sometimes can happen during that test, he would use a pediatric scope. He did, and all went well. I would hate to see him stop practicing in the clinic, but maybe we need him to be teaching up and coming medical students/young doctors how to give the best, most compassionate, and most expert medical care possible in Gastroenterology. Kudos to him and a big THANK YOU!

Dr. Towne always comes in earlier than our appointment and we never have to wait long in waiting room. He explains everything to us and well prepared about my husband history from other doctors. He is easy to get an appointment with and would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Dr. Towne

Dr. Towne has been my doctor for 15 years and he has always shown utmost concern for my care, following up and checking in on me. I totally trust his care. He is conservative yet thorough, a great combination only found in a truly top-flight physician.

My husband was admitted to the hospital with gallbladder issues. Dr. Towne was great. He and Randy McGee operated on my husband. They were both easy to talk to and they explained everything in detail.

Dr Towne was absolutely wonderful! Not only was he kind and attentive, but he was able to accurately diagnose the problem and inform me on how to best approach the situation. He spent a lot of time talking with me and helping me to fully understand. I would highly recommend him!!

Dr. Towne is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is caring and compassionate. He will not over treat you either just to get paid. I always tell other peiple with gastrointestinal issues to see him and all have been pleased with him

Dr. Towne diagnosed colon cancer and then found me an excellent surgeon. He went to great personal lengths to insure I had the very best of everything. He even called me at home and fought with my insurance on tests I needed. All this when he was on vacation out of town. I was so touched. He is EXCELLENT and considering the tests and treatments he sometimes has to do, (not very comfortable) he is so kind and very conservative. He is part of my family and go to him regularly and always will considering I had cancer. I would travel the world over to go to him.

Dr. Towne (uses the name first name Carter, not Thomas) is excellent. His assistant follows up with phone calls. He is very conservative in his treatment, which I greatly appreciate, and is highly capable and knowledgeable. I have intestinal disease and he has been treating me over several years, keeping me out of the hospital. I've also had a colonoscopy at his clinic and it was as close to a spa atmosphere as you could ask for. He is 100% quality. Be prepared to wait an hour and a half but the office is nice so it's not too bad.
