I told Dr. Robinson about some suggestions that were made by my orthopedic surgeon on my medication he got upset and threw his papers across the desk and then a week later I get a letter for dismissal that he no longer wants me as a patient very unprofessional doctor would not recommend him to anybody.

Ted was my Doctor for 7 years treating me for my back and I never seen any improvement on my back once. Every time I went in I trusted his judgement but never got results. He never checks you fully and you leave wondering what was the point of the appointment if he is just going to shine you on. This last time I went to him I let him know I was in extreme pain and needed to finally take time off of work to finally fix my back and he told me he would only take me off for a few days because he was worried that the insurance company would be upset with him if he took me out any longer. First off again he had me stand up and bend over which I couldn't and that was it for checking me. Never have I heard a Dr tell someone they couldn't treat me correctly because they were worried about the insurance company but that's exactlyWhat he told me. Because it is a workman's comp issue I can't see anyone else unless I'm appointed a new Dr so I had no choice but to call my lawyer and helmsman Insurance to inform them that this Dr was not treating me correctly. This Ted guy called my lawyer and told him I was being loud and yelling at him and now refuses to see me which was a bold face lie! I never raised my voice I just called him on his bullshit. He left me a note for my work that said I could twist pull bend and lift over 25 pounds and that is not the case. I can barely walk and can't lift anything and had to tell him why after all these years had he lost his passion for his profession? He couldn't even look me in the eyes. He lost all my respect and he should not be caring for anyone from here on out. I will be reporting him to the insurance company and my lawyer and be filing a lawsuit against him. People if you are truly in pain look elsewhere this guy works for the insurance companies now and doesn't care about his patients. He treated me like a dog

Dr. Robinson has been the only positive and helpful aspect of the treacherous worker's compensation system. Initially, I had doctors who didn't acknowledge my injury and who refused to order basic testing. After finding out that a fall at work had caused a disc herniation, I transferred my care to Dr. Robinson and I have been with him for about two years. He's kind, understanding, helpful, never rushes, is happy to answer any questions I have, and treats me with respect. He has offered me guidance and assistance in navigating worker's comp and I am so grateful. The front office staff, specifically, Jessica, are wonderful and very kind.

This doctor saved my life.At the time I was working for the California Highway Patrol. My low back was severely injured while on patrol. My Agency sent me to a local immediate care facility. The Doctor there diagnosed me with a "strain", prescribed some pain killers and sent me home for two weeks rest. After a few days my lower body went numb. It felt as if I was sitting in ice water. Scary stuff! My wife drove me to Dr Robinson's office. Within minutes after conducting a few tests. He diagnosed me and referred me to a Spine Surgeon. That night I was admitted into a hospital where I had an emergency L4-L5 fusion. As I was recovering in the hospital, the Spine Surgeon checked on me. With a smile he related that "Doctor Robinson really saved my bacon." I have been a patient of Doctor Robinson since then. He has also treated my neck. Doctor Robinson is kind and intelligent. He and his Office Staff provide top shelf customer service. The office is run in a smooth and efficient manner. If you want the best, go with Doctor Robinson.

I've been a patient of Dr. Robinson for over a year and have been very pleased with his care. His staff are very professional and friendly and the most I've ever had to sit in the waiting room is a few minutes. He performed a thorough diagnosis of my situation upon my first visit and has continued to work with me toward my health goals. My progress has been positive despite some trial-and-error (which is quite common in this area of medicine).Dr. Robinson has 20+ years of experience working in this complicated field of medicine. If you truly want to gain knowledge on what can be done to improve your health and get a treatment plan together Dr. Robinson is an excellent place to start. I took a chance and made the right decision - I expect others will as well despite the negative reviews which seem more emotionally driven than anything else. Schedule an appointment and go forward with an open mind - you'll learn more than you know of your situation and be put on a treatment plan that will improve your health in the long term if you put forth the effort to follow Dr. Robinson's guidance.

This guy is worthless. He treated me for a period of a year and half with no definitive resolution. During that time, he flipped flopped on his treatment recommendations and never was consistent. I could ask him the same question every visit, and get a different answer every time. He made a surgical recommendation for me, but consistently failed to communicate with the surgeon's office. My second issue with this physician is he uses appointment time to whine and moan about the workers compensation system. I get it, your unhappy doctor. I don't want to hear about it every single visit. I couldn't recommend this doctor to anybody I loved. There are a lot of choices for physiatrist, pass this one up.

I would recommend Dr Robinson to everyone. He is an upfront and honest person, he does not pull any punches. He takes his time during each and every appointment to explain what options are available and what needs to be done to improve. The front office staff is also wonderful. A five star office.

I found that Dr. Robinson did not spend near enough time in evaluation or patient care. For me, he was entirely a numbers guy as in how many can I get through and how fast. Also, he makes a point of stressing to show up early for appts. to keep the office running on time, but I waited at least 1/2 hour up to almost an hour after my scheduled appt. time every time I went in. Do yourself a favor and try someone else.
