I met Bill Hickerson when I was a patient in the Elvis Presley Burn Center in Memphis in 1986. I had 3 skin graft surgeries and 5 scalp excisions to remove a very large bald spot that I had managed to create with a grease fire. His professionalism, bedside manner and willingness to do whatever I needed to help me recover. My right hand was also severely burned. After the grafting surgeries I had almost no movement in that hand. Since that time, I yet to go to a Dr. that has not been impressed with the healing and movement that I have. Today, most people that meet me have no idea that I was ever burned. There is nothing that I cannot do with that hand. I will always be grateful to having landed with Dr. Hickerson as my burn Doctor - and I know just how lucky I was.

Great Dr he has done 25 surgeries on me. I tell my husband he is the best doctor ever !!! And I can say that I have had quite a few doctor's before.

I was in a very bad automobile accident 33 years ago on 10/26/1985. I was 20 years old and Dr. Hickerson was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was unconscious for 7 days. I have pics that he provided before and after surgery. I am very pleased with work to this day.

This Doctor never quits! He is honestly a Godsend! My son has been seeing him for the last 2 years for a wound that has been very hard to heal. Dr. H never gives up on him, when so many other doctors have! We love you Dr. H.!!!!!

On 11/11/15 I was burned on 85% of my arm at work.After 35 days one spot on my upper arm didn't heal so they told me I had to have a skin graft.Dr.Hickerson was awesome from the moment he said hello.He made me feel at ease and assured me he'd take care of my problem and he did just that.I'm happy with my outcome.My graft looks like a heart tattoo!!!??He's the best!!!Thank you Dr.Hickerson!!! I think Dr.Hickerson and his entire staff was dipped in sugar. I have been going to specialists for 15 years. Befor then I was a Nurse since the age of 22 and have had to have numerous surgeries. I have never ever been in a Dr.s office where every employee and the Dr. are so kind, caring, and extremely nice.Can't wait to have my sugery !!!!!!
