This doctor is racist and unethical! He denied care to my sick daughter beach I asked why he have her another physical instead of give her results from the previous physical which was why we was there! He referred to us as your kind meaning BLACK PEOPLE ! I was in total shock and disbelief!
I have been a patient of Dr Bluestone for years. I just can not believe all of the negative reviews. I have nothing but positive things to say about this amazing physician that is world renowned! He is kind, compassionate, he is a brilliant physician that took so much time to ask me questions in his office before running tests and after the tests were completed, he spent over 45 minutes reviewing everything and explaining what is wrong with me. For over 20 years I was misdiagnosed and treated with serious medications that caused many years of troubles for me. They were un-necessary medications. I have never felt so normal. Thank you Dr Bluestone for giving me my life back !!!
Unprofessional, inhuman person. My sick 6 &3 years old kids and I were kicked out because of his arrogance.
Ok
Sent by WC and completely amazed. I miss this type of medical practitioner - personable, well rounded, knowledgeable, great bedside manner, understanding, heart-felt, thinking outside the box and his heart warming smile is calming. MD's aren't made like this anymore which is so sad and we're paying the prices.
Dr. Rodney Bluestone is by far the best physician I have seen in years! I am a person who has had several issues physically and I also volunteer in Pastoral Care at a nearby trauma unit. I believe it would be appropriate to say I know my doctors. Different Specialties in the medical field come with doctors who have different types of personalities. Rheumatologists are typically the most gentle of all physicians. Dr. Bluestone is by far the most gentle, caring, kind physician I have known or seen in more years than I can tell you! If you have a condition that is very difficult to diagnose, I highly recommend an appointment with Dr Bluestone. He diagnosed my condition to perfection. His training is superb! He has trained at some of the best hospitals in the world. I've seen some complaints about medical costs, but that's just what medicine is these days. It's expensive for the physician and for us, we cannot blame the Physicians for extra costs, the blame should be put on government regulations. Dr Bluestone is worth every penny you may need to spend! All the diagnostic tests that need to be done to procure your proper diagnosis are better than another day of pain.Personally, I trust his diagnostics and appreciate his care. Thank you Dr. Bluestone!
Many years ago, I saw him. He was the "insurance" ho that my workcomp insurance sent me to so that he would try to agree with them. He did agree that I was sick, but he never once looked me in the eye. He examined me literally for 5 short minutes and diagnosed me that quick, without getting to know me or even looking me in the eye. I felt like I was sub-human. He thinks he is a God and he is just churning out reports for $$ without caring that his patients are humans and need actual help and treatment.
Arrogant man. No bedside manner. Bad doctor. No discussion about heavy medications he prescribes. Rude office, just like him. Should have retired a decade ago. Do not go to his doctor!
While Dr Bluestone is very competent the prices he charges are obscene. Two office visits with some tests set me back $3000! Yes you heard me correctly. I too had major issues with their billing - the cost for lab work was unheard of and of course not covered by my insurance as it was the doctor's own lab facility. Same with Xrays and a host of other tests. Had I known I would need a mortgage to diagnos a torn rotator cuff I would have sought help elsewhere. They did attempt to give me $300 off of the bill - but would not accept the same reimbursement by insurance would have given them had it been covered $2100) - their reasoning I am not an insurance company with whom they do business. So in essence they will accept less reimbursement from an insurer than a patient that pays cash - and they will mis- bill your services so you cannot get reimbursed from your insurance company. An interesting racket - but sadly one most people should avoid.
I saw this doctor a few times. He never remembered me. He is a bit of a phony, with a big phony smile. He is a bit of an alarmist. Saying I need surgery immediately if not sooner. It is 6 months since I have seen him and other doctors have different opinons. I am so glad I did not follow his advice. You are warned! I have had other doctors recently say negative things about him as well Use your instincts.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
