Excellent surgeon!! Knowledgeable , trustworthy and caring. Explains diagnosis & plan of treatment well.
Dr moffat operated on me a few years ago My shoulder was repaired My name McClure gives him high ratings as a surgeon well qualified to do a job well done!
Went in for bone spurs in my shoulders and an old back injury where I’d had a compression fracture of the T-12 and 3 smashed discs…Dr. Moffat with only a few X-rays of my shoulders determined I was fine and had me return in two weeks and spent about ten minutes with me only wanting to know if the anti inflammatory had mad my shoulders stop popping so much and loud…I had to debate him to have a request for an mri an he wanted me back in 5-7 and for what I don’t know unless it’s the $650 he’s charging my insurance for each visit… idk how he can treat my back with an mri to see what going on there…. If you’re looking for a new specialist I’d recommend trying someone else, just my opinion
Did a ORIF which left tiny scars where rod was inserted and screws attached. I am very pleased with his service.
Dr M replaced my right knee, operated on left wrist from being broken but botched my right wrist when I broke it. He just set it. Another option said should have had surgery for graft, plate, screws. I am left with right wrist that healed deformed and painful all the time. He screamed at me while he was setting it as I was crying uncontrollably from pain. He was rude, crude and shouldn't be allowed to practice. I wish I had taken my issue to the medical board. I saw signs of his behavior with my other issues and I'm mad at myself for not changing drs when I had the chance. I was told after it healed badly to redo it usually doesnt turn out well. Everyday I'm reminded of dr m because of the pain and the way my hand looks.. We need to be sure we are in the best care possible and wearing a white coat doesnt make you a dr. Please dont be afraid to ask questions. Drs aren't God. Every chance I get weather asked by other people or drs, what happened to my hand, I certainly tell them. .
Three weeks after surgery, I am doing jumping jacks. Dr Moffatt is fantastic!
My name is Michele Cole and I am writing on behalf of my mother Beverly Blair who lives in Memphis, TN who visited the office of East Memphis Orthopedic for her spinal stenosis and sciatic nerve pain. She was originally suppose to have an appointment with Dr. Peter B. Lindy but for some reason Dr. W. Lee Moffatt was the Dr. In which she saw today 08/25/2020. From the second that he walked in the door to greet my mother he was rude and obnoxious. Ordinarily a new Dr. To a new patient would greet them with a “ Hello my name is XXXX” how are you doing today? “. Not Mr. Moffatt and to be honest he should not even be addressed as DR. In this situation because he did not perceive to be one today the way that he spoke to my mother, Beverly Blair, was down right disrespectful. I believe the assumption that he had of my mother was that she was on drugs or a drug addict well that is what the conversation in a round about way lead her to believe he thought she was based on the verbiage he
Do not go and see this Dr. if you plan on having surgery. Very poor bedside manner. Dr. Moffatt screwed up my knee replacement and told me that it would be normal in time. It’s been over a year and a half and I am having revision surgery by another surgeon out of this state. Do not waste your time with this man.
Super caring doctor in his office and in surgery. I’m very satisfied.
Very professional, able to coordinate with other health care professionals. Get things done.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
