List of William Z Taylor Md's Reviews
I recently developed spinal stenosis and would love for him to operate on me again.
Dr. Taylor operated on my spine THREE times and I have lived with 24 hr./day, 7 day/wk. CHRONIC PAIN since then these past 20 yrs.! Ever since he PERMANENTLY DISABLED me, I have been UNABLE to WORK! I must lie FLAT on my BACK, in BED for at least have the pain to enable me to get any PAIN RELIEF! Dr. Taylor showed me NO compassion when I COMPLAINED to him about the HORRIFIC PAIN I was suffering and he immediately DISMISSED me as his PATIENT all because he DIDN'T want me to TALK with him about it! My LAST visit, Dr. Taylor wrote on my chart & insurance statement, "three failed back surgeries" as my diagnosis/prognosis. I know he DISMISSED me because he was WORRIED I would file a MALPRACTICE SUIT against him. Like the rest of his patients he's HURT and/or DISABLED, I sincerely regret I NEVER filed a MALPRACTICE SUIT against him because I was in too much PAIN to have to visit a lawyer to DO it. Dr. Taylor NEVER EXPLAINED to me BEFORE operating on my back to do that SPINAL FUSION that he planned to insert two RAY CAGES into my spine and he NEVER explained to me I could end up PERMANENTLY DISABLED from the surgery until the NURSE gave me paperwork to sign just BEFORE I was wheeled into the OPERATING ROOM! He got FURIOUS with me because I DIDN'T want to SIGN the PAPERWORK because he'd NEVER DISCUSSED putting RAY CAGES in my spine at my PRE-OP APPT. with him, so I knew NOTHING about them! A few days AFTER my surgery, one RAY CAGE broke LOOSE from my spine & instead of removing them BOTH, he left the other RAY CAGE in my SPINE, which DESTABILIZED my spine, so every time I stand up, sit down, or turn my waist or roll over in bed, I suffer PAIN that is HORRENDOUS! Years later I contacted the Laser Spine Center and they told me "We CAN'T OPERATE on you to FIX the problem because your Doctor left that one RAY CAGE still IN your SPINE! Over these past 20 yrs. I've SINCERELY regretted NOT filing a MALPRACTICE suit against Dr. Taylor: he should NOT be ALLOWED to practice MEDICINE!
This doctor gave me the wrong medical diagnosis to begin with. He then performed back surgery on me - which left me barely able to walk for several months. While I was going through this horrendous nightmare, Taylor and his partner kept examining me and repeating the same thing: that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with me ... and writing on his notes that I probably just didn't want to go to work! I finally found a wonderful, knowledgeable doctor who figured out, in no time, what was wrong with me: The screws Taylor had put in my back were bent and moving, thus causing other problems as well, and also the main reason for the excruciating pain I was in.
He did surgery on me and when I had horrendous pain after the procedure, he said "What do you want me to do about it?" I asked for my records, and left. After almost 2 years, I found another doctor to correct the surgery. It took him 4 hours to clean up the mess left by Taylor and company.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
