Cherokee Health Systems's Online Review Report Card

Went for an interview today and it only lasted 5 minutes due to me not being vaccinatedor willing to be . If thats a requirement it should be posted on the sites they are using to recruit healthcare workers. Being vaccinated is a personal choice. I understand yeah Im in healthcare and should want to be but Im not wanting the vaccination.

I would even give them one star. And my experience is to personal to make public.

Don’t get me wrong my counselor was a very nice person. The person who prescribed me medication always seemed to be in a hurry and never took time to ask how it was working so I’m just gonna stop going. I’ve had to reschedule for my counselor 3 times already and twice for the medicine person. It wouldn’t be a big deal if I didn’t need the medication but it doesn’t work for me and I’m tired of getting the run around. Would rather go somewhere else and actually be able to see the person when I was originally scheduled instead of having them cancel last minute and having to wait ANOTHER month or two just to be cancelled on again.

Friendly great and fast

I noticed a review where a person gave one star because they didnt get pain meds. CHS has it plainly posted that they do not perscribe pain meds or any other narcotic. That is well known. They seek to treat you without using any addictive drugs which is a blessing If you really need pain meds like say for a kidney stone they will refer you to a urinologist or whomever you should see regarding your pain. CHS is actually a very affordable and caring place that will help you get better They sincerely care for your health and money is secondary. I have no doubt that if you cant afford treatment they will get you help one way or another. The doctors here really do care and want to help you

I have waited over a month for my intake phone appointment. 30 mins past time they should have called I had to call only to find out there was paperwork that I was suppose to come fill out in the office....during a pandemic....when they gave me a phone appointment after all...makes no sense. I was on the phone with your crisis line earlier because Ive been off my meds for A WHILE and yes Im having what feels to be a breakdown but the lady looked at my chart and assured me the lady would call me for my appointment she said everything seemed in order. So I really appreciate this Ive waited over a month for help...just holding on..only to no avail...bs

I started coming to Cherokee in 2012 first at the Newport office and then to Morristown in 2017. I’ve been to the CSU six times and each time received excellent care. They have at max 15 beds so they’re able to provide focused care to each patient.I then changed my primary care to this office have nothing but good things to say. My dr. Cynthia Mantooth is very caring takes the time to listen to my needs.In addition to my mental health diagnosis I’m also diabetic she has been very helpful in managing my sugar levels with insulin only so I don’t have to worry about the harmful effects of diabetic medications.If you are looking for focused care for you mental health primary care I would definitely recommend Cherokee.

Dr did good staff very friendly and helpful

Youll find excellent care and friendly staff. Cherokee is a godsend for people like myself in need of high quality medical treatment.My only complaint is that I wish they could keep the turnover rate down. Ive had several instances when I find a therapist or NP that I like only to see theyve moved to a different facility. Otherwise outstanding job.

I see Mara for my meds and I guess talk to much but she is very patient and helps me get through hard times.When she was on vacation I had run out my medication and insurance was not set up right her nurse was wonderful. I had to go in to let her check me and she helped me find a Pharmacy that I could afford my meds until my insurance went into effect.They have been patient with me about my bill??
