List of Dr. Linas J. Adams's Reviews
If you want the best, here he is! You may have to wait to see him, took me 3 months for appt n 3 hrs office wait but let me tell you! Dr Linus J Adams is the best in his field! He set up the gastroenterology field at UT hospital….. HE IS WORTH THE WAIT and his staff is awesome as well…..
Dr Adams and his staff are great! They are down to earth, normal folk. Dr Adams doesn’t strike you as a “Better than you” doctor as some do. He looks like he just rode in on his Harley and he explains things in normal language. His staff was super nice. The day i was there they were overbooked for reasons out of their control. They handled the rude, impatient people in the waiting room in a very professional way (way better than I would have!). I’m so glad my family doctor recommended him and his staff.
Not only is Dr. Adams the absolute BOMB, his staff is great and they actually ANSWER THE PHONE! I cannot say enough good about Dr. Adams and his office — and I am not inclined to be overly fond of doctors.
We can't be more grateful for Dr Adams and his staff. My mother had a severe and massive pancreatic pseudocyst. Her symptoms had been largely overlooked and written off as a weight problem by many of her other doctors through the years. At our pleading, her PCP finally ordered a CT scan and discovered the cyst. It was nearly the size of a basketball. We were referred to Dr Adams. We were worked in and saw him the next day and by Friday, he already had her scheduled for an endoscopy. His subsequent care for my mother gave us more time with her before, unfortunately, a different and rare health issue cropped up which complicated things. But he was with us and fought for us the entire time.I, too, have been under his care. Because of our family history, he doesn't let dust settle if any of our family is experiencing anything. Our oldest daughter, 19, began her care with him just yesterday with some gallbladder issues. It feels good to be listened to and not have her symptoms written off as anxiety. In my opinion, you can not nor will not find a better doctor.
Best dr around
I switched insurance to have him for my Dr, very happy I did
When Dr.Adams was at UT IN kNOXVILLE he was my Gasternologist. I was dying with Pancreatitis when I was first admitted to the hospital.Dr.Adams was my maindoctor. He was the kindest person to me and my husband that was by my side daily I had to spend several months at UT.I will always say Dr.Adams saved my life.I miss him so much.Morristown is very fortunate to get him as their Doctor.Boots Snyder-Niota,Tenn. Tell him I said hello. I will give him the highesr rating I can give. 5 Star.
Receptionist was completely rude! If that’s any indication how the staff treats their patients I will go elsewhere. Grant it my son lost his insurance card we had insurance company on the phone they wouldn’t talk to her then we had a temporary card on our phone and she still couldn’t except that. Asked if I can email it and amazingly they don’t have email. Now I myself have worked in a doctors office and we would go above and beyond when it came to our patients needless to say new patients. Then magically they never got any records . Yup this momma said forget it! This lady has absolutely no people skills and is completely rude.
Great doctor he helped me.
There is a wait to see him as a new patient but, it is well worth wait if you can. He takes the time to listen and he genuinely cares for his patients. We will stick with him until he retires.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
