I have been her patient for 30 plus years. She is not only knowledgeable but very caring
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lagueux for close to 25 years. Her office staff are always friendly and courteous. Dr. Lagueux never makes me feel rushed, listening to me and my symptoms and explaining things very well. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doctor who is caring and concerned.
Dr.. Lagueux is the single best doctor I’ve ever had- and trust me, please, I am in a position to compare lots of doctors since I’ve always had quite a few physical problems in my life! She’s wonderful as is her staff!
Dr. Lagueux was understanding of my medical issues at first but that quickly changed into quick visits, not listening or taking my concerns seriously. I’ve found another doctor. One that understands more than the common flu and has some compassion.
I have been looking for a dr for some time. I had a great experience today. Everyone in the office was friendly & professional. I felt very comfortable. Love Dr. Lagueux. She was great!
I finally had all I could take of Dr. Laguex and her stupid rules, particular about not refilling any prescription without office.visit. It is clear to me its all about money. No visit - no money! Even though you have taken the same script for years she still refuses. I was a patient for about 35 years, and for years I kept wanting to get a new Dr. I just let it go. I have hurd many people with my same opinion about her practice. They need to wake up and find a new competent doctor, or maybe I should say one that cares about you as a patient. I regret not leaving many years ago. These people that give her all these good ratings must not need very good health care needs. She needs to go on home and take up needlepoint or knitting she can do that without having to be too smart.
Great service on my first visit, very helpful
I went in a few times when we first moved to the area. She blamed everything on the fact that I was aging (I was 36 at the time!) and that I was overweight (by 20 pounds). When I asked if we could check my thyroid, she told me that "everybody wants to blame the thyroid for their weight and that's never the case." She finally relented and tested my thryoid levels and found that my thyroid levels were VERY low. Actually, all of my primary hormones were low! She still refused to put me on thyroid medication and told me I just needed to exercise more and eat less. I was keeping a journal of everything I ate, which was about 1200 calories a day (my activity level and height and weight called for 2200-plus calories a day--I did the research and math myself), and I was running more miles than she was every week and had just finished a half marathon! I went to another doctor who immediately put me on thyroid medicine and sent me to an endocrinologist. Other doctors have no idea why she wouldn't put me on thyroid medication when tests have warranted it. Maybe she just found it easier to fat shame a patient and throw in some snide remarks about age. Ummmm...no thanks.
Dr. LaGueux has been the BEST find since moving to Nashville from California 1-1/2 years ago. After going to 3-4 other doctors, I FINALLY found one that was a great fit for me.....listens well, is direct but in a kind way, and thorough.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
