Dr. Watson saved my life in October 2019 while he was with the Duke system. I had a perforated colon, diverticulitis and a abscess which was very near bursting. Dr. Watson did emergency surgery on me. He was very attentive to my recovery and he was amazed how well I was improving. I thank God Dr. Watson was at the right place at the right time for me.

Dr. Watson was my surgeon for my fundoplication procedure that I had in Jan. of this year. I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. From my consultation up to my surgery, he was wonderful. Just the right amount of personality and professionalism that you would want. Easy to talk to and answered all my questions. I highly recommend him to everyone. Being a Christian was icing on the cake!

I was scheduled for hernia repair in hospital with another doctor but it was Dr. Watson who did the surgery. My hernia repair turned out to be a little more complicated than normal, but Dr. Watson did what needed to be done. He kept us informed before and after the surgery. He has a great "bed side" manner. I have had a follow up with him since and both my wife and I are very impressed with his knowledge and his genuine concern for his patient. I would highly recommend him to others.

My sister was admitted to Duke Regional on Oct. 8, 2018. Some would say it was the luck of the draw that Dr. Jefferson Watson was assigned to her and performed her surgery. I say it was God's Grace. Rarely do you find such a talented , superior surgeon with such a big heart, gentle bedside manner, treating us like family. If you ever need a general surgeon, Dr. Watson is the doctor that you want. Superior care with a gentle touch. The Best MD ever !!
