Dr. Tamula will only address what she is comfortable with. If you need a prior authorization for a medication , she and her staff do not know how to complete this information for the insurance. They will tell you to call and it’s the doctors office that needs to speak with the insurance company. I have called my insurance company and was told they reached out to Dr. Tamula and her staff with no response.

Dr. Tamula immediately moved up to the best doctor I’ve ever been seen by upon my appointment yesterday. She took a genuine interest in my questions and you can tell she really cares about each one of her patients. I’m beyond excited that she moved to Ascension!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Alma Tamula since I moved to McMinnville in 2019. I think she I very thorough with her explanations of everything. I’m a retired healthcare professional with more than 45 years experience. I plan on continuing having Dr. Tamula as my primary care provider when she starts practicing in Murfreesboro.
